If you wanted to spend a little extra, you could bump the RAM back up to 64GB and bump the PSU up to the 1000w offering, to cover all bases and still be inside £3500.

I definitely think that this is the overall best compromise & use of the system. It ticks every box at a good level, but focuses more on the editing side of things. The second monitor is worth its weight in gold, even if not used for gaming, so it has it's own merits.

I am loving this, Please can you reconfigure including the 64 ram memory and also the PSU upto 1000. Also I would prefer the 1st M2 drive to be 1Tb and storage drive to be 4gb or 2gb x2 faster drives? If you configure this for me, I will probably order this setup, including the 2 monitors. Also would you recommend some decent speakers upto £150.

also is there a 28 inch 1448 monitor also? Would prefer both monitors to be same size for my OCD purposes lol.

I already had the 1000w PSU selected, I never even realised haha. Below is with the 64GB of RAM. If you click the link at the bottom you can make changes.

Regarding the storage, I would strongly advise against more for the primary drive. You want to keep this running as slim and trim as possible to keep performance. I would only ever put Windows & your editing programs on this drive. Everything else should be shared between the fast storage and the bulk storage. If you think you'll need more bulk storage then I would just add another 3TB drive. The bulk storage is relatively cheap and cheerful. I would tend to try and move older items onto external storage or media though.

If you set your software to use the second drive as a cache, this will also offer a speed advantage. There's no advantage to using the primary drive for anything other than the OS & Programs, when it comes to performance.

For the monitor, you'll struggle to find a 28" 1440p screen unfortunately. It's just not how it goes. If you can fit 3 screens though, this would be beneficial as well. It would allow you to have one 27" screen on each side of the 28" screen which would look great and offer amazing real estate for editing.

For speakers, it's hard to go wrong really. Just stick to a reputable brand and go with whatever fits your layout.

M2 drives are by far and away the fastest. The second drive, the 2TB Firecuda, would be your fast storage drive (and cache drive). The 3rd drive is aimed at bulk storage but you can change it to SSD if you want to. They're quite pricey though and not really worth it for storage when speed isn't important.

No, that's not right.

3070Ti would be for 4k gaming. For editing, the GPU is only used for effects and such. The actual main rendering is done on the CPU.

The 3060Ti has you more than covered.

Yeah they're wrong mate, 3060Ti is more than adequate in fact it would be pretty good at editing in 4K

Ha I will definitely do that. The guy on the telephone at PS did not instill any confidence in me im afraid, a-lot of er er er in conversation and didn’t seem confident.

I want to buy these speakers for my pc, just to make sure they are compatible and will connect etc? Can someone kindly confirm please,
