After reading all the posts on the weekend, I'm seriously considering amending to the 3070... Are the wait times that different currently? Like others pointed out, there's a lot of conflicting info

I've made the swap. It looks like they just had a huge batch through though and they've now all been assigned. Guess it depends which card has a stock intake next.

I'm only at 10 days for a 3070 build and parts have been picked and about to go to build so even though the latest stock has been assigned already, the wait seems shorter in general. I'd think that as it all goes by order date, those changing now will be bumped to the front of the queue for the next restock. That's just my speculation though.

I'm not sure if I'm gutted or not to not get the 3060Ti as it sounds an amazing card. My elation has turned into "what if it comes and the power cable is missing? what if it won't turn on?" Good luck queuers! Looks like we've turned the corner.

You will be fine if it is just the power cable you can buy one on amazon with same-day delivery

Day 26 pre production and as I stated in the thread on Friday, was debating switching to the 3070 and now seeing people going into build who swapped out at the weekend, I'm gutted I didn't.

One thing though, here is my build....

If I click the link at the bottom, I can no longer find the case I purchased so does that mean it's out of stock?

If yes, then what is the best option going forward as don't want to go into the late 30's early 40's working days waiting on a case

FYI, I just spoke with the webchat guys. They've advised that all 30xx series cards (aside from the standard 3060) are out of stock, likely until mid-April. Guess I'll be in the 40+ club by the time mine goes into build!

It is not definite that you will be held up by the case. When I ordered I had a quote that included a case that went out of stock before I pressed the button (500D SE). I was able to place the order and received the PC last Friday (worth 5900x and 3060ti), with dispatch after 33 days. It is worth contacting PCS to find out the situation.

You'll have to open it and leave it open for a bit (maybe refresh now and again) as they are obviously busy.
As to queues for the 3070, don't know when stock is due in but I just went into build after 10 days and a number that swapped recently (including today I think) have also gone into build.

Originally ordered on Boxing Day, wait got reset after 18 working days to switch CPUs, and since then it's been another 42 working days... I want to wait for the card I want rather than switching but man this wait is really starting to kill me.

I don't really care about ray tracing/dlss but with the wait time being increased to mid april for 30 series and me being on working day 36 I kind of want to get my pc soon before easter. Could do with some advice on whether this is a worthwhile switch, thanks.

Wow that's well hidden. It actually works in mobile mode. I went to my order page and right at the bottom of the page there is a little black box with a white arrow pointing up. When I Click that I then see live chat. Thanks!

This is exactly what I did just a couple of days ago. My 1440p monitor is only 60hz so the 6700 xt is perfect for me. In a few years time I'll get something more substantial and will game at 4k.

Yeah that makes sense, I'm on 1080p 144hz but I want to make sure my pc can run the newest games in a few years. How many working days are you on out of interest?

I'm on working day 33. 5950x, Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard, Phanteks p600s case. Not sure when I'll go into building. I've been without a PC since summer last year due to my motherboard failing. I've managed to strip my PC bare and sell most parts.
