The Great RTX 3060ti Wait and Delivery Thread

I’d much rather a 3070 tbh but I’m terrified to change given I’m on 34 days 😂
When I asked the other day they said it wouldn’t make a difference and it could make it longer of a wait.

SO MUCH CONFLICTING INFORMATION.

Absolutely fuming. They said not to swap on Thursday now someone in the queue for 10 working days has got a dispatch xD can't believe it. Have just put the swap through, if I don't go into build by Tuesday I'll swap back.

@KalZah no way that's for the 3060Ti as people have been going into build 32-36 days. It must be your case or processor. I'd drop them a message.

This my first pc so I have absolutely no idea what’s going on haha, I have this CORSAIR 550W CV SERIES™ CV-550 POWER SUPPLY
Oh, no no no no no... You need 750w at least so you have more space to upgrade after years when you change a GPU. 850W modular is what I recommend.

I knew I shoulda stayed with console hahaha
I echo what the others say, definitely get a higher wattage. 750w as a bare minimum. Myself personally I've gone with 1000w. Not only for future proofing but PSUs run more efficiently at lower loads. If you require 500w and you have for example two gold rated PSUs, one 600w and one 850w then the 850w would run more efficiently as it's running at a lower load. See the attached picture.

Oddly the titanium grade gets more efficient the higher the load 🤔🤔

For some reason I can’t even change to a higher one at the moment, everytime I try it has an error page. Will have to try again on Monday to see if I can change then. Will probably go for the 850w Corsair

I would strongly recommend getting some advice on your build, you can't just put any components together, PC building is a fine art not to produce bottlenecks in the system, it's all has to be correctly balanced to get the best performance.

Managed to change it, think my wifi was just playing up earlier so wasn’t loading the page. Hopefully it doesn’t add much time to the build

On 36 working days in pre-production now, hoping to see it go into the building stage soon seeing as everyone else seems to be going into building around 35 working days.

Does PC Specialist get their batch of 3060ti’s every week because i see so many people go in building in this forum at the beginning of the weeks and then it quietens out by the end. Im on 33 working days hopefully i can get my pc by the end of this week

Best to read the stickies, it explains it all. No one in the world knows when stocks are arriving at the moment due to many reasons. Often shipments don't make it over due to an outbreak onboard, or troubles with border issues due to brexit and high costs.

Expected shipments often don't arrive or only arrive in part, so it's impossible to give expectations of anything.
