Hi all
First of all apologies, as I'm not very knowledgeable about this stuff.
Had my desktop since May, without any issues that I was aware of.
Started getting random resets, sometimes with a windows 11 message of needing to reset, sometimes just resetting automatically. At first when gaming, then web-browsing.
Used windows memory diagnostic and it detected a hardware issue and referred me to the manufacturer. Tried memtest86 and am getting what seems like a lot of errors (179) on tests 13 and then 8 after an hour (not yet left it running overnight)
I've tried re-seating the RAM sticks in case that was the issue, but it doesn't seem to have fixed it.
I've currently left all the settings for the motherboard as they were when I received the computer, so not sure what may be happening.
The build was as follows. I apologise if I've left out obvious info that would be helpful here, as I say I'm not fully sure how best to diagnose this.
If anyone could offer suggestions on what to do next, or what other info would help (and how to get it) bearing in mind I'm a bit simple
