Started having memory issues out of the blue - 3200 DDR 4

Hi all

First of all apologies, as I'm not very knowledgeable about this stuff.
Had my desktop since May, without any issues that I was aware of.
Started getting random resets, sometimes with a windows 11 message of needing to reset, sometimes just resetting automatically. At first when gaming, then web-browsing.
Used windows memory diagnostic and it detected a hardware issue and referred me to the manufacturer. Tried memtest86 and am getting what seems like a lot of errors (179) on tests 13 and then 8 after an hour (not yet left it running overnight)
I've tried re-seating the RAM sticks in case that was the issue, but it doesn't seem to have fixed it.
I've currently left all the settings for the motherboard as they were when I received the computer, so not sure what may be happening.

The build was as follows. I apologise if I've left out obvious info that would be helpful here, as I say I'm not fully sure how best to diagnose this.

If anyone could offer suggestions on what to do next, or what other info would help (and how to get it) bearing in mind I'm a bit simple :)

Have you recently moved or knocked the machine at all that may have caused some items to come loose? I only ask this as the suggestion would be to reseat the memory and try the tests again.

Ultimately though, if you are getting these errors, take a picture of the screen showing this and contact PCS using the RMA page in your account as if you only got the machine in May then it will be under warranty and they will be best to help you.

Thanks for your reply!
No obvious knocks that I know of.
I've overcome my fear of fiddling and tried booting with one Ram stick only, then the other in the same slot, both came back reporting no issues.
Just going to try them in the opposite way round than they were originally, then I guess its indicating the issue is with the contacts for the 2nd slot, or the slot itself.
Maybe just needs cleaning?
I'll keep trying to figure it out.

When installing single dimms or pairs, they have to be in certain slots, you can't put them in any slot. It's particular to each motherboard, the relevant slots will be outlined in the motherboard manual

Thanks Spyder
Yeah they need to be in slots 2 + 4, I did consider trying 1+ 3 but apparently that would just cause more issues.
It looks like my pathetic attempts to clean the slot have worked! Or just re-seating for the 5th time in that slot worked :)
Hopefully it will stay that way.
Thanks for the help all.
