Another Lemon Jelly grail item, this is the second promo copy they did that was handed out at festivals. Apparently there were 1200 of these in all, these aren't quite so rare, but again, to find in this kind of condition is unusual.

This is the Rolled Oats single, in a Hessian bag, Again, this appears to be like it's just been stored and forgotten about for 20 years, it's pristine

And then a classic, original 1980 copy of Ultravox - Vienna, love this song

This was just an impulse buy as it's a remix by Fred Deakin from Lemon Jelly and I've been on a hunt for all their 7"'s.

These are Fred's remixes of some Human League tracks that I've never heard of, no idea what to expect.

Edit: Just added it on Discogs, apparently it was limited to 500 copies, released in 2009.

I was on the phone to my older cousin the other day who is another huge music fanatic although collects CD's and DVD's.

We were walking around showing some of our new items we'd found and he mentioned that Steely Dan were his favorite band, I said I'd not heard their stuff.

Low and behold, much as is his way, this was lying at my doorstep when I woke up this afternoon after a lunchtime nap. This is his all time favorite album

This is quite cool.

This is from Mike Koglin, a legendary trance producers, personal collection, it's an old single from 2005 with a remix by the incredible Lange. He had a few copies still Mint that he sold at reasonable cost on his band camp. And it's signed to boot.

A lovely one, the new Futuro box set from Bedrock records mixed by John Digweed himself.

Postie was meant to deliver this on Saturday but never showed, but was on my doorstep this morning. It's hard not to love them when they come out on a Sunday which I'm sure they're not rota'd for.

Modera - From Walks Of Life, no idea what this is, someone recommended it to me, think it's progressive house

M83 - Digital Shades Vol I, this is the original 2007 French limited edition, they're by no means rare, but to find one sealed is pretty cool.

I'm a HUGE fan of Evanescence. These guys were promoting this new album and heard a snippet of one of their tracks on twitter and it's really damn good, so thought I'd pick up this new album.

@Steveyg I'm sure you've probably already heard of them but would be up your street I think

and where are you keeping 1400 records

Half are in the garage, half are on the floor in the room where the record player is. I'm moving shortly and should have a much better space and will have record shelves everywhere, in the toilet, in the kitchen, everywhere!

Almost 1400 now, but a lot of those are box sets with multiple albums in, and a lot are singles as well, so it's not the best representation.

But one thing I know for certain.... IT'S NOT ENOUGH!!!
in cycling circles we have a formula for calculating the number of bikes required, the formula is:

N+1 where N = the number of bikes owned, I'm sure your vinyl is similar

Couple of really special ones.

The new Enigma State single, Sacred Art / State Of Mind. This guy is a legend, he's got all the old classic music making hardware from the 90's the original synths, the DAW is in an old Amiga, it's literally a 90's setup. As such, he creates new tunes, completely unique, not copying, but in that classic 90's trance sound. This is his second single released on vinyl, only 300 copies of each, I'm very lucky to have a copy of his first too.

And this second one hit my radar, a second hand VG+ copy came up on the original buyers club I'm a member of, never heard of it before, released in 1999 by an Austrian outfit and there weren't many released and it's quite rare, never been repressed, was fully deleted from what I know. It's classed as Downtempo, very much reminds me of Cinematic Orchestra in big sweeping orchestral with synth soundscapes crossed with some deep chilled laid back early leftfield sounds. They wanted quite a premium on the original buyers club and it wasn't a pristine copy so I went on a hunt.

Found this copy from a lovely guy on eBay just looking for a quick sale, it's was listed Near Mint and priced 2/3 of what the OBC were wanting so I took a risk. It is absolutely pristine, the guy said he thought he'd only played it once when he bought it, and it was his original copy. They release one further album after this in 2002 which I have on the way also.
