This is my only Record Store Day purchase, it's a guilty pleasure, but there's something about this track that I absolutely adore. They only did 1000 copies, I was amazed I managed to find a copy from an actual store, rather than having to resort to the flippers so got it at a superb price, I have the original but this has some really good mixes on it.

A classic just been reissued for the first time since released in 2002. The original goes for a good £300 in NM condition, it's been on my wishlist for ages

A real piece of history through today.

This is Carmina Burana, which I fell in love with from the Original Conan film

I have a mint copy of the 1995 Speakers Corner edition which is hailed highly.

But I've seen several reports online that this is the copy to own. I found an incredible eBay seller who was clearing out her old collection, they're all still in original shrink and in absolutely wonderful condition. Just look at how well this cover has held up for a 1961 record! This is in NM condition throughout and cost peanuts.

Just listened to some of the album tracks on youtube, and they're hauntingly beautiful.

Got to Vast (which I think I liked the most)...and thought I recognised the black sand beach (Reynsifjara) in the video from my trip to Iceland last year.

4 Techno EPs through, all of them from Afterlife Recordings, only release in Europe, don't sell directly to the UK so you have to buy them elsewhere. It's my intention to get hold of their back catalogue, they have some incredible artists under their wing including Tale Of Us

Pretty incredible, both the music and the visuals they put out on live sets. It's very laid back techno in some ways, it's not the crazy fast stuff, more relaxed, but quite thumpy. I love it.

Why is it all the pre orders arrive when you're away? I'm at a friends this week looking after their dog and cat, and apparently they've filled up the study at home with records that have arrived this week. Can't wait to get back!

The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds (Analogue Productions Stereo 45rpm). I've got the Mono 45 but felt it was a little lacklustre and they've lost the license for it so there won't be any more.

Fred Again.. and Brian Eno - Secret Life. This is an ambient album, what a pairing, Brian is Fred's mentor, so hearing a collaboration is going to be something really special

Last but not least, The Beatles - Let It Be 2021 Remixed by Giles Martin box set. This completes the 50th Anniversary box sets so far.

Some amazing names on there, and not in the grandstanding way you may imagine, Nicole Scherzinger (who I think is incredibly talented), Ricky Wilson, I never would have guessed it was them without looking at the credits
