PCS don’t seem to be anywhere near the 16th. I spoke to the online chat person yesterday and she said they’re working 5-10th of October.

As a reference point I ordered the 14th October with an intel CPU and standard 3080 and they don't seem to have any idea when stock is coming. It might be two months from now it might be less it might be more. If you believe in April you may not be disappointed but no-one has any idea. I've been told they're working through orders from 5th-10th October but it could take a month to make it to Orders from the 11-15th. If you see a PC somewhere else with a 3080 probably get that.
I called them yesterday and a fella said they’ve a delivery of 3080s scheduled for the 24th.
Assuming it arrives (doubtful) and assuming it arrives with the quantity they expect (doubtful) they should be able to work all the way through to half of November orders.
24th is a Sunday? Can't see that being true 😒
I believe PCS have been working weekends, but don't quote me on that.

I'm the 15th, and honestly the temptation to cancel and order somewhere else is growing.
I've ordered from PC Specialist before which is why I ordered here over somewhere else, but when I see other people in this thread ordering elsewhere and getting them quickly, it's getting harder to stick with it

Has anyone got emails on estimated build times? If so how accurate were they?
My pc was estimated to be built today, it was the second estimate they gave me, the first estimate was for tuesday 12/01/2021. Five days later I received a follow up saying my estimate build date was today and than should a delay happen (as it did) I will get another estimate on monday, im also under the impression that these are automated emails as i receive them a 6am.

I'm 65 days and its not sounding like its going to be any time soon, after the conversation I had on chat I was told to be safe it could be another 1-2 months🤦♂️ had my hopes set on end of January. Seriously considering giving up now and just scrapping getting a pc!

Sadly the automated email system cannot cope with the long lead times for the 3080 (and other parts). Browsing through the most recent pages of comments will suggest that wait times are 60+ days depending on what you ordered and what PCS are able to get.
Hang on in there ... it will arrive eventually and will be worth the wait.
forgot to mention i switched from a 3080 to a 3090 and two days after switching i got my first estimate

Also interested in this having also switched to the 3090 (and getting a 3950X CPU). I've had two automated build emails and so far both have said build date of 25/1 so we'll see what happens....
how many days have you been in pre production and when did you make the switch ?

18 days pre-prod, switched on Monday 4th Jan. What CPU are you?
cpu is i9 9900k, i am on 25 day pre prod and switched last wednesday, if you're estimated build is the 25th and mine was this week it seems to make sense really hoping tk grt it by jan 24th as I got a week of holiday
