Sorry thought you said October, it could be possible that it takes that long due to the stock shortages, however no one will be able to give an accurate eta. If you got to the end of the first week of March your order would be at 80 days, so would hope you would receive it before then, but again due to current circumstances no one can give any guarantees.

Thanks, might switch to the 3070 as I need this PC for work. Is the 3070 stock any better at the moment?
If you’ve got the time contact PCSpecialists and just ask if switching would save time before you do it, as wouldn’t want you to switch and it not be any quicker. I should think it would be, but always worth checking before you do it.
Edit: if you’ve got a pc at the moment it may be worth using your current GPU (if it can support the work you are doing and sourcing your own 3080 from elsewhere).
I would say as a whole the 3070 stock is better, you can see the images attached from Stock Informers discord (hope this is allowed) the restock of 3070s happen more often than 3080s, but couldn’t comment on PCSpecialists 3070 stock position you’d need to contact them to find that out.

I noticed there was quite a few retailers that had 3080s from Friday to Wednesday I assume they had a big amount of stock
Have you tried actually getting one though? It’s impossible before you can even to add to basket it they’re already sold out
Couple of buddies of mine managed just fine, almost gave me hope that PCS might be able to deal with the orders made 2 months ago, but they were just lucky

Yeah, that's the thing, apparently, scalping for online shopping isn't illegal. It is only illegal for ticket sales. Apparently, the UK government were discussing changing that law in December though

I'm hoping my pc goes into build next week 42days today changed to 3090 last week!
