But the source is The Sun, so I wouldn't believe a word of it
Given neither club has any official dealings with the rag, I don't believe it. I did see a rumour or two about Liverpool being interested earlier in the week, but we'll see. He is good enough to be the latest player to cross Stanley Park if that's how it ends up going. He's no Abel Xavier!

You're not having our United tax!
I don't want your United tax - well not this summer. I fully expect he'll be on his way elsewhere next year unless we win the league which ain't happening!

Don't worry we only want to over pay on bang average players, so you have nothing to worry about as Braithwaite is decent 😆

Urgate is the only signing I'm excited about. Yorro as well but that lasted 30 minutes until he got injured in his first match for us, that was a pre season game.

Got the calculator out - Wolves and Ipswich's points per game this season projects to a total of a little over 26 points for the season (16 divided by 23 multiplied by 38). With more than half the season gone, that suggests that Everton are likely as few as 4 points away from safety with those last two wins. I'm obviously hoping to go beyond 40 points and really move up the table and ensure that the new stadium has Premier League football next season!

Lets hope you stuff Liverpool tonight! We are having a funny old season. Is Rubin the man to bring us back haha I don't think anyone can at the moment. Its a crazy roller coaster and we have just got to accept this is where we are now and this is how its going to be for a long time.

The derby match is next week, as Liverpool play in the League Cup tomorrow. We play United in a couple of weeks which is going to be interesting.

I was hoping Arsenal would lose to Man City on Sunday, so we could let Everton win the game-in-hand to jump up a few spots to possibly leapfrog ManUrinal and The Spuds!

If we beat United in a couple of weeks, we may leapfrog them anyway.

I'm never confident in derby matches so I'm not holding out much hope for this one!

I don’t care who’s playing Man U, I just want a MU loss! With the exception of MU, I was rooting for every British team in all the European games as well.

Merseyside derby’s throw up all sorts of random results…and the David Moyes effect will just add more spice to the game…along with it being the final one at Goodison 😬
