Just looking for help/advice on my PC restarting after I quit a game. Usually around 15s-1m after closing a game, it just freezes, screen goes black and it restarts.
Games like Horizon FW, Cyberpunk etc always crash, while some older games like Far Cry 3 do too, but it's not all games which leads me to think there’s some processor/ram/graphics element to certain games that my rig can’t recover from after quitting or some app related to gaming is causing it, I have Razer Cortez but it's off and Armory Crate but not even sure what that does... I'm a bit of a tech idiot. I thought it was related to RTX and had that turned off in Win11 settings but it still happens.
It also sometimes crashes when there’s a fast moving or heavily rendered cut-scene and if something graphics heavy happens during gameplay it will stutter, and sometimes freeze and I have to hard restart which again leads me to think it's the graphics card.
On occasion, just while browsing the net and listening to spotify, if the page has video or animated ads, the music stutters and the mouse freezes for a few seconds. It’s also crashed a few times using Clipchamp and when I’ve had YT on fullscreen.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics drivers which didn’t seem to help. I’ve tried to look through the event viewer but can’t really see anything useful, other than ‘RuntimeBroker.exe has initiated the power off of computer’ at roughly the time of the last crash and Win11 shut down unexpectedly. I have the power settings as Balanced, the only other option is Razer Cortex Power Plan.
Specs below, anyone have any advice? I have no idea and I'm worried it's damaging the PC. I bought it from PCS about five years ago and it's worked fine until now, this started about six months ago and I've never found a solution/advice. Please help!
