If I had 125K I'd want one, the BAC Mono is an EPIC track day machine. Although if I were spending that much, I'd rather get an Atom V8

Is Grid good Keedar? The only thing i miss from my console really is Forza is this comparable?

I remember First part from ps3 and was great so Grid 2 will be the same or much better :) Cant be worse. 2 days to go.

Never played Forza so cant say nothing about it. :/

I'm a big fan of Forza and Grid. They are two completely different games though... I don't know if you've played Forza Horizon but Grid is a bit similar to that.

Forza: Very realistic, lots of upgrades available, huge amount of cars to buy, lots of options to make the game more challenging and more of a simulation.

Grid: Arcadey, not as many cars to purchase but lots of different car classes i.e. touring cars, open wheels, etc.. Great fun and good to play online, upgrades only really used to go as far as changing the paint.

Basically Grid is a good laugh and if it's anything like the first one it'll be worth £18 easily. They have taken out in-car view as apparently only 5% users used it and the amount of HD textures needed in the interiors could have been better used on the exterior... Personally a bit gutted about that as I love in-car view but whatever. Apparently bonnet-cam is the best to use with a wheel anyway and using an out-of-car view is quite handy as there's a bit of bumping on grid and it's good to see them coming. Saying that, it was great when you'd be happily driving along and then get an unexpected thwack to the rear.

Buy it if you don't mind a more relaxed racer. I used to love touring cars on it and it was still all about having the right line and stuff, you could just throw your car around corners a lot easier and it didn't require so much braking!

You also get GRID 1 immediately!

I can't compare Grid 2, but I'd say no - Grid was nothing like Forza imo. Grid 2 is likely to be an excellent game, however I wouldn't have said its going to be a racing sim like Forza/GT are.

What I forgot to mention about Grid 2 which I'm not really too thrilled on is they're apparently going to jump you into a decent car straight away. Their philosophy is something like "We don't believe you should have to slog it out in slow cars at the start of the game so we'll put you in something brilliant straight away". That's all well and good but if you're anything like me I used to love buying really average "working-man class" cars on Forza and tuning them up a bit into something competitive. Especially on Horizon I was looking at buying a Civic in real life and luckily they had a Type-r on Horizon which I could tinker with to my hearts content!

It sounds like Grid 2 will be throwing you straight into Beamer M3's as a starting car and then goes all the way up into like the DTM cars like R8's and stuff. It could be brilliant but I think I will miss having slow but fun cars to tinker with.
