Sorry but I have question, since all these game are soooooooo cheap is it possible to get them with the disc so I can install them instead of downloading them because it takes 1 hours for me to download 800mb and if I did buy the disc do I need to install updates for the game or will I be able to play them instantly?

Yea like Steaky said most of these games are steam keys and discs are often quite a bit more expensive and don't seem to go on offer as much (probably because it's easier for the supplier to email a code than to post a disc) so you're less likely to find like £3 bargains in disc format. Newer titles aren't as bad though.

I'm in the same boat as you, I get about 250kb/s max download speed which works out at about 1gb an hour or usually a bit less. What I've found with my desktop is it's no problem at all to leave it on overnight and I'll happily wake up to it the next morning running as cool as when I left it. I downloaded 18gb worth of Battlefield 3 installation and that took me about 2 days :D It's not actually that bad though, normally you can just play a single player game while something downloads in the background if you don't want to leave it overnight.

The only game I have bought by disc as the price for the disc was actually cheaper was Guild Wars 2. It took about 10 minutes to install off the disc but then it spent about 4 hours updating all the content I'd missed since release. Probably still worked out quicker than a pure download of the game but it would have been nice not to get my hopes up when the install completed. Discs are handy for quick re-installs though :)

I've found that brand new games are usually £5-10 cheaper on disc at release, but after a few weeks, the prices for the downloads are dropped, and they will go into a sale on one of the sites, and be much cheaper

But I don't buy brand new games either way, so it doesn't effect me

Have a look on cjs-cdkeys - they sell game discs with no key very cheap so you can get both

Just got the Wake collection to, played it when i had an xbox but none of the extras, thats an amazing deal though, the amount of goodies you get with it is mental.

My first Humble purchase. Are they usually this good?

How to i get the codes to register it with Steam, im at work at the moment an the page is blocked so i can see how it works.

Humble basically just sends you through to a download page which has all individual codes or download links depending on whether they're steam activated or not. I know that some occasionally use Desura as well which is like Steam but for indie games. It should email you with a link as well that takes you to the codes page.

Thanks Grimezy, looked at it through my phone and it has the codes link at the top, thank you.
