Nice, that is super quick. I'm good at keeping things charged up without being OTT over it, but great to hear it's not too harsh should you get caught out.

The Arctis 7s have a 24hr battery. I sleep with mine on and charge them every 3 days. They’re on all night as the pc just goes from one thing to the next.

Amazing headset for the price, just amazing.

Well I decided to go with the Razer Blackshark v2 Pro in the end. The mic removal and a great number of reviews made me feel this was a good route to go down.

I have even purchased a lovely desk clamp to hang them off of.

Ultimately it is my eldest son being jealous that gives me the greatest satisfaction.

Ah I've got a solution to that... put the clamp to the side of the desk = no bumping into things. I just need to move my printer desk over by a small margin and there's enough room for it to be placed where nothing will be able to brush past it.

Again going back to my issues is having cats and one especially who likes nothing more than to sit on things (more umcomfortable the better and luckily never the desktop itself), so this will be a big relief during the times I'm not there.

Just as an example, this spec would be a better all-round base (bear in mind, you can make changes to your order without it affecting the lead time, your queue time etc..well, assuming noy stock issues with what is changed to)...I have left 32GB RAM in there as no clue on your uses. I've been looking at your spec you suggested to me a week or so ago, I've decided to go for the case you suggested, as colours on the front are not my thing. You also suggested: ASUS® TUF X570-PLUS GAMING (USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCIe 4.0, CrossFireX) - ARGB Ready! rather than: Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE: DDR4, USB 3.1 - ARGB Ready - May I ask why you suggested one over the other?

I'm going to take the plunge and go for the 850w PSU you suggested for added longevity.

This is my current spec, does this work out OK compared to the previous?

Thanks appreciated. One i get back later ill try the additional tweaks you mentioned.

Its mainly gaming, though I'm not someone who jumps from one game to the other, so tend to stick to the same 2-4 games, which is why i didn't feel such higher hard drive space would be required.

GPU was ordered whilst they wereso in stock.

Regards ram, why you would go for less or more?

I'll change the psu, tbh I wasn't sure and just selected the one that seemed closest in price to what you suggested.

Last question for me, presuming you would go for the 5600x v's the 3600xt? Would the stock cooler be OK for all of the Ryzen CPU's?

Or if not liquid cooled, would one of the advanced coolers be better?

At present the build looks like this. Only thing I didn't take up was the need for wifi, as connecting via ethernet only.

Well I've added a Ryzen 7 3700x, so with this you'd recommend a cooler? Having a little look online and people are saying similar to you earlier which is they aren't bad at performance. I'm not too worried about it being silent as I'll have headphones on most of the time.

Again from a usage perspective it's purely for gaming, no editing or streaming... just gaming and You Tube mainly.

I'm hearing the Ryzen 7 37000x stock cooler is good for cooling, but can be loud... I don't want an aircraft carrier in my room. :)

Well I went with the Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite 240 CPU Cooler instead.. I see it lights up... presuming the lights on these fans can be turn off if they begin to get annoying?
