Looking to build pc for gaming, warzone mainly, and i have no idea what im buying. Thinking of changing from xbox series x to pc. Is this any good ? any recomendations ? budget is below £2000. my monitor is this:

Okay you’re going to want something like the below.
i’ve upped your motherboard and PSU to allow for upgradability. CPU to latest gen cpu (much faster for gaming) and downgraded you to the 3070, as it is enough at 1440p. You also have 500GB M.2 for windows to load super fast. 1TB to store games on for fast storage and 2TB HDD for other files (although this could be removed, unless you store photos, music, films etc)

This is the spec I'd go for with your budget and monitor.

The Ryzen 7 5800X is a great CPU for gaming, the 3070 will comfortably handle that monitor (plus is a lot cheaper and has a much shorter wait time), the 500GB SSD will launch into Windows instantly, the 1TB SSD will provide lots of fast storage for your games and the 2TB HDD will be ample storage for general files. The RMx PSU will power this system for years and support upgrades down the road. The one shortcoming of this spec is the Cooler Master CPU cooler. If you could stretch, I'd recommend upgrading to the H115i. The AX200 will give you 5.0 wifi bandwith and bluetooth. The antivirus has been known to cause issues so has been removed and the silver warranty is well worth the £5.

If you don’t need the HDD, i’d advise dropping it, lowering case to Lian Li 215 and upping the cpu to the 5800X - as the 3070/5800X is a glorious combo. If you can’t go even £1 over £200, drop the 980 pro m.2 for the firecuda, as the difference is not massive

How well would you say this build would run warzone, and would you say its worth upgrading from the xbox series x considering it is a big price difference?

i wanted to be more near £1500 not £2000. Would that build be considered good or average ? as i have no ideas about pc stuff i am hesistant to just buy something without really knowing how good it is

£1500 pc you won’t really see an improvement vs the console, however... it will be able to be used for other things, so i’d give the egde to the pc. For £2000, it WILL be better than a console.

I have a 5800X with a 3070 and 1440p with reasonable settings, i get 140+ Fps, i limit it with V-sync personally, as it can range from 120-180fps.

I will lower the price, but try and keep it as high end as possible. It will be cpu and motherboard that save you money here.

Looks like a great build to me. And as Ash has said, there really won't be much difference in performance between a Series X and a £1500 PC (shows you just how great value consoles are). Although with a PC you do get the benefit of not having to pay for Xbox Live every year, games are generally less expensive and it's a PC so you can use it for PC related tasks too 😂

Easily, yes, it's a fantastic case, you can pretty much fit whatever you want.

This is from a Lian Li PC09 owner, they are incredible cases, can't get much better imho.

No, the case just accommodates any cooling solution, doesn't mean you have to have that. An AIO cooler is far better than closed loop these days anyway, there's no point in custom watercoolers anymore for gaming, doesn't benefit at all.
