Tell me what you guys think, anything i should change/add. Im already a bit over my price range and trying to KIND of reduce it without performance loss.

Without indicating your intended use it is difficult to give feedback. For gaming the CPU seems overkill and sli unnecessary for 1 screen. If you are planning to overclock you would need a different CPU cooler and you could consider at least silver warranty for £5

Hello VenatoS,

Welcome to the forums, what kind of software you going to be using on this beast? Gaming? Video Editing? Rendering? Photoshop? Cad etc

Also your budget and we can look at your options.

Mike

Edit: Need to type faster :)

Howdy, it would help the others if you could let us know your intended uses and budget (I know you say you're above it, is it something like £1800?).

Just a few points, try to add the silver warranty if you can, worth it for a fiver imo.
Any reason you're going for a socket 2011 CPU?

EDIT: hmmmm...... waaaaaay to late :)

I was planning on having a computer that will be able to destroy the future of gaming for next 4/5 years (One time purchase).
For example the new watchdog game, don't you think 1 GTX 780 is not enough to run it on ultra?

Also what is the Silver warranty thing?
I can consider upgrading the CPU cooler as i wish to overclock the CPU thou im not completely sure how to do it, I know is something to do with the BIOS.

Depends on the number of monitors/resolution you're planning to play the game on. If you're multi-monitor gaming or gaming at hi resolutions (4K?) then you could use the extra graphics horsepower.

Silver warranty extends the returns period out to 1 year, meaning if anything untoward happens during the first year PCS will pay for the return of the components/PC/etc. to them for repair/replacement.

Overclocking is an interesting thing to start, its not beneficial to gaming though, so that's probably worth baring in mind.

1 Monitor 1920x1080.

Alright I'll make sure I get the warranty! Thanks for the tip!

I thought that Overclocking the CPU + GPU makes a HUGE difference when it comes to gaming, and i thought we are talking about 10/20% of FPS improvement?

Overclocking the GPU will make a difference however doing so will invalidate your warranty with the GPU component and also may shorten its life span in certain instances.

Your best option would be to design the PC with the best GPU you can aford at the time, with the potential to have a second GPU installed at a later date incase you need it perhaps.

For most gaming overclocking the CPU won't make too much difference (unless its heavily dependent on the CPU - most games aren't).
Overclocking your GPU will void the warranty on it.

Overclocking the CPU is not going to bring any noticeable improvements gaming wise and as I mentioned before 2xgtx 780 are overkill for one monitor. I would get a single gtx 780 and replace it in a couple of years.

I'd disagree that it makes a huge impact in any case - most likely you're going to be pushing out more frames than your monitor can deal with. There's no point in getting an increase of 10% (even if it is that high) on 200 FPS when your monitor is only 120 or 144Hz.

Don't bother OC'ing the CPU or graphics card(s) (at least until you're more confident with overclocking in general and maybe consider getting better cooling for all your components in the future).

Okay so thats some costs going down for sure! 1 GTX 780 it is then!

Another thing is I only get the option of 3 processors when i "build" my PC? is there a way to change that, because thats the only reason why i have a socket 2011 and 4 motherboards show up all with 2011 socket.

Ahh i see! that makes a difference :)

Do you guys have any suggestions when it comes to getting a motherboard + a CPU? Like which one shall i get? Any ideas!

I7-4770, z87-a motherboard and gtx 780. You can probably get away with an i5 but the i7 should be within your budget
