Sorry, I have another question. If I were to also use this PC for other tasks such as CAD, fluid-dynamic simulations and programming, would the 7800x3D still produce adequate performance or would it be better to get another CPU.
No, you’d be better off with another cpu and cooler and likely case too

There's an element to which this depends on what you consider "adequate". These are tasks that can take computers with two 64-core CPUs, or vast supercomputers to work on. You can do CFD on a 7800X3D, but it won't do a terribly good job. (Most programming tasks will be fine, except if you're doing massive compilations or other more niche tasks.) You won't get much better for your money. I'd temper your expectations about what can be achieved.

For CAD and Fluid Dynamics especially, they both greatly benefit from Hardware Acceleration, and Nvidia is streets ahead in that regard because of the strength of the tensor cores. In raw tessellation, this is a slightly weaker card than the 6950XT that was previously attached, but for hardware accelerated applications, it's far stronger. It will still fit an Ultrawide very well.

With a bit of a shuffle, it's only slightly increased:

Alright so my PC arrived and I set windows up nicely. However I’m having trouble connecting to WiFi - I have the antenna connected to the motherboard. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Yeah, I used a bypass to setup a local account without internet and I’ve found an old Ethernet cable so I can use that for internet, however I have a second problem. I’m unable to activate windows.
But did you clean install windows, or just use the test windows?

Oh ok how do I do that?
Thanks to @Martinr36 for the guide:

Download a new copy of Windows using the (Second option on linked page) to an 8GB (min) USB. Media Creation Tool
Boot that USB and choose a Custom Install.
Delete all UEFI partitions on the system drive (EFI System, Recovery, MSR Reserved, Primary).
Select the unallocated space that results and click the Next button. The installer will create the correct partitions and install Windows.
Run Windows Update repeatedly, even across reboots, until no more updates are found.
You may need/want to download and install the latest graphics driver from the Nvidia/AMD website (they change so regularly the latest version isn't always in the Windows libraries).

This is also worth a watch
