A very poor build.

do you have this at home or due to receive ?

is it a Curry’s order or did you Spec it yourself?

As above, AMD are far superior to Intel these days, although considering what they were like a few years ago it is quite crazy to belive.

Godlike
I just placed an order and it’s at pre-production stage. What should I change
If you've just ordered it honestly the best thing you can do is cancel and let us help you spec out something more appropriate. That build is extremely unbalanced and will struggle to do basic tasks, let alone gaming.

Any uses beyond gaming?
Do you have a monitor already or are you also looking for a monitor? What make/model or resolution/refresh rate are we talking?
How flexible are we with the budget? With £1000 it's going be hard to get beyond an entry level build; covid has caused a price hike on a lot of components as supply has been massively disrupted.

I don’t know. Why it is bad to choose intel?

my budget is around £1000

Can you tell me what should I change to get high FPS for gaming

I have just placed an order for MSI 32inch monitor with 165 refresh rate

MSI AG32CV 31.5" Full HD 165Hz FreeSync Curved LED Monitor

I use pc mainly for gaming, but also use for simple work like Microsoft word etc

could you build one and post for me so I can consider? I appreciate so much if you could do so.

This is a base build you would want, then add a gpu to match. With 1080p, you want to be waiting for the 3060 launch. If budget allows, upgrade cpu to 5600x

Thanks! I will look into this. Is this spec faster for gaming compared to RTX3060TI?

I didn’t include a gpu in that build.

personally i would get a 1440p 144hz monitor over a 1080p 165hz monitor. But the 3060ti will play great on both.

The 3060 when it launches won't be as powerful as the 3060ti but since you'll be gaming at 1080p you'll just be spending money on power you won't be using.

The 3060ti is aimed at 1440p screens.

Just shoot me now - please no more torturing! This is a 1080p monitor. Whichever 1080p monitor bigger than 25inch is really bad as it gives a low quality output. For 1000 budget you'd be looking something like 3600/3600X/3600XT and 1660 Super/2060. If you're getting a 3060 Ti, you need a decent 1440p monitor.

Conclusion
Overall, we recommend the following monitor size/resolution combinations for gaming.
23-inch to 25-inch: 1080p
27-inch: 1440p or 4K
28-inch to 32-inch and over: 4K
25-inch to 29-inch ultrawide: 2560×1080
34-inch ultrawide: 3440×1440

38-inch ultrawide: 3840×1600
43-inch super-ultrawide: 3840×1080, 3840×1200
49-inch super-ultrawide: 5120×1440

I believe the Samsung is the better option as the Samsung can read and write from the drive quicker than the intel one.
