FedEx being weird

After waiting the whole day yesterday for scheduled delivery before six pm I’m now also back to updated delivery pending 😭

I'm getting daily emails for the last three days telling me they scanned it in local fedex facility Dublin, 40 minutes from where it needs to go.

Collection isn't an option provided either.

Just call the depot and then you can collect it.

I asked when I was talking to customer care and they told me collection wasn't currently an option.

I know, I live 15 minutes away from the Shannon depot but had to wait nearly a month whilst it sat there within my finger tips lol. All folks can do is be patient and be assured it will arrive.Easy to type agreed but it should not be long now.Happy New Year everyone!!!!!

ah damn sorry to hear this guys... I don't know if the package is supposed to end up here at any point, but the # for the Airways Industrial Estate depot is 01 816 1300, it's hidden away on the door behind the actual depot, doesn't seem to be made public on the web for some reason.

What confused me when I was trying to get mine was I was told by the customer care number that you couldn't collect, but apprently you actually can from the depot, but only if it's been scanned there. There was one lady on that number who was somewhat helpful, but then there was another guy who was not and hung up on me mid sentence xd

I tried that numbera few times wolo and it just goes un answered. I presume they caught on to why it was ringing :D

This has been a pretty terrible experience, hopefully it arrives next week.

Mates pc was delivered the day before new years eve while he was away, no update on the tracking status. Lives about 15mile from me and ordered two weeks after me and dispatched the same day.

PCSpecialist have opened an enquiry with Fedex, I tired of ringing them and getting no where.

I got told it's getting scanned it will be out tomorrow more than once. Then I was told it was handed to TNT on the 28th, here is there number please ring them. They have no record of it. 4 times I've been disconnected while I was put on hold. Its the first time I've had Fedex as a delivery company and it is easily the most amateur looking of them all.

Not only did the computer miss the Christmas delivery,it missed the 2021 delivery and it's still dragging on.

ahh yikes, sorry to hear this is still going on Dan... I was also confused with the TNT thing with mine, apparently they merged or something with FedEx express. I tried ringing them as well but they said that they couldn't track mine because I didn't have a TNT-specific tracking #

That is so frustrating. You'd think these days Logistics companies the size of FedEx would know EXACTLY where each package is within their network. Fair enough if there are practical delays these days, but at least be able to say where it is and when it is due to be delivered.

For anyone else reading this, raise any issues with PCS, not with Fedex, fedex have no contract with you, and although you're the delivery customer, they have no contract, so raise any issues with PCS as they hold the contract with Fedex and have direct communication channels.
