We love you Ukraine
They normally come with different backplates for AMD and Intel, make sure you're using the right oneOh damn, this feels like it just got complicated 😅
Thank you!

Some coolers use the AMD stock backplate instead. If the one currently fitted to the PC isn't compatible, it might be in the PCS parts box...They normally come with different backplates for AMD and Intel, make sure you're using the right one
That's what I figured and it said when I ordered it, but the only one that seems to have been sent is the Intel bracket. On all of the videos I've watched of installation I haven't seen a backplate even being used some I'm pretty confusedThey normally come with different backplates for AMD and Intel, make sure you're using the right one
That's what's confused me, my backplate seems to fit perfectly with the new mounting brackets sent and in all installations guides I've watched no backplate was shown to have been installedSome coolers use the AMD stock backplate instead. If it fits perfectly then give it a go, perhaps it is the sameThat's what's confused me, my backplate seems to fit perfectly with the new mounting brackets sent and in all installations guides I've watched no backplate was shown to have been installed
I'm a little nervous recommending it as I'm not 100% certain, but my understanding is that the majority of coolers use the stock AM4 backplate. Certainly my cooler did, although an Intel backplate was included. And the online instructions don't mention an AMD backplate. If it fits perfectly then give it a go, perhaps it is the same
I'll try to mount the cooler on and see if there is any give at all and I'll get back to you all 🤣I'm a little nervous recommending it as I'm not 100% certain, but my understanding is that the majority of coolers use the stock AM4 backplate. From all of that I would conclude that it's fine. But as I say, I don't know that.
Actually looking at instructions for the CoolerMaster, it also uses original AMD backplate. So if the Arctic isn’t fitting, you’re doing something wrong.
Is this pretty commonplace now on the new coolers to attach to the standard bracket? That's pretty coolHope you’re sorted now, would love to see pics of final install
I think it's standard for AM4, certainly. Is this pretty commonplace now on the new coolers to attach to the standard bracket? That's pretty cool
That's really cool. I hope they continue that through AM5I think it's standard for AM4, certainly.
Yes, I believe that hasn't changed at all with AM5.That's really cool. I hope they continue that through AM5
Also says CPU Fan ErrorOk so I installed the new AIO and now all I'm getting is 5 beeps 😬 on start up
Have you connected the Fan 4pin to either the AIO_Fan header or the CPU_Fan header? Also says CPU Fan Error
The 4 pin has been attached to the motherboard which says AIOPump, the only cable runs from the actual pumpHave you connected the Fan 4pin to either the AIO_Fan header or the CPU_Fan header?
