Difference between SSD and 2.M SSD

I think the above spec should handle everything 1080p can throw at it. looks spot on to me.

Few questions!

1. How is PCSpecialist when it comes to cable management? (Custom PC's)

2. Is the finance option legit and not some type of scam? e.g I will be calling them and they never answer so then i go over the 12 months period and have to pay **** ton of money.

That is all for now :)

1- you can check pictures on the forum on the "show off your new PC/Laptop". It is pretty good.
2- It is legitimate, it is provided by hitachi finance. You can check reviews online.

3. Both of these drives seem to have same spec, but MUCH different prices.... why?

2TB WD CAVIAR BLACK 6 GB/s 2,000 GB 7,200 RPM 64 MB

2TB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s 6 Gb/s 2,000 GB 7,200 RPM 64 MB

I think Mantadog answered it in your previous thread, caviar black is faster.

OR
2TB SEAGATE HYBRID DRIVE 6 Gb/s 2TB + 8gb 7200 RPM 64 MB

I've merged a whole bunch of your threads together since I'm presuming its all questions about the machine your going to be ordering, its helpful if you stick to one thread cos it means people wont end up asking the same questions.

Keynes pointed out that there is no point in going for a hybrid drive if you're getting a SSD as the primary drive. The Caviar Black will be more than sufficient for playing games from etc.

Think his post got lost in the merge somewhere...

Is that the 2TB Caviar black is extremely expensive! I want a fast, silent HHD, (2tb storing a lot of games)

Fast + Silent + cheap is difficult to achieve. The Caviar Black's are not the most quiet of drives. They are fast though.

Get a 1Tb SSD if you want fast + silent :)

By silent i do mean just quiet.

Depending on how quiet you mean, the caviar black might be fine. It doesn't sound like a helicopter or anything... but equally you can hear it over the PC's fans occasionally for example. If you're gaming though I highly doubt it'll bug you.

yeah, that is all i need to know. I'm just not sure if i should go for the caviar black as it is pretty expensive but will it be such a major difference when i will be playing games.

it is your choice at the end of the day. I personally would go with the caviar black rather than overclocking my cpu if I have a tight budget. I wouldn't skimp on the drive, how significant? I can't be sure but compare to a barracuda drive for me it is noticeable.

I suspect you'll get whatever colour they happen to have in at the time.
They may only get sent stock of one colour per delivery but I just don't know.

Why in the "Show off your new PC/Laptop" Section its 98% Laptops :'( I wanna see custom PC's !

I can't find anywhere anything about cable management in custom builds, anyone who got a PC from PCS could share their opinion...
