So I've found these two below, the only H100i Platinum I've found is White and my enter PC is black.H100i Platinum would be the one to go for.
The H100x is an old model, no software control and should be avoided.
Black one is easier to get and usually cheaper:So I've found these two below, the only H100i Platinum I've found is White and my enter PC is black.
There's a H100i Elite which is Black, so would suit my PC a lot better.

H110i Elite
Would it be worth sacrificing looks of my PC by getting the white AIO or shall I just go for the Elite at £0.04 cheaper?
Alright perfect, got this ordered and is due on the 29th March Fingers crossed my current AIO doesn't give in...Black one is easier to get and usually cheaper:
Your current one has already given in, I wouldn't use the PC whilst it's in that state, you run the risk of burning out the processor / motherboard.Alright perfect, got this ordered and is due on the 29th March Fingers crossed my current AIO doesn't give in...
What's the best way to dispose of the current AIO? Or do you recommend keeping it in storage just in case?
I wish I could, I use it to work from home permanently now I do 11 hour night shifts and start again tomorrow night, so I'll just try to keep the workload small until I get it. Hopefully arrives sooner than its estimated delivery date!Your current one has already given in, I wouldn't use the PC whilst it's in that state, you run the risk of burning out the processor / motherboard.
As that comes with a lighting node, that’s actually better value than if you weee to buy them separately.Hey guys Just an update, looks like my new cooler is going to be arriving tomorrow so that'll be a fun experience connecting it up. However I've been thinking about swapping out the stock fans whilst I'm doing this upgrade (2 at the front, 1 exhaust). Is it worth doing for that RGB or are they not worth upgrading?
I don't want to spend a big amount on fans unless it's really going to make a difference. Was thinking about this but is it worth it for £95?
Great news @TomBerry !! That sort of idle temp sounds perfect!Installed the new cooler today, so far I think the temps are good! Idling between 30-35c with multiple tabs of Chrome open compared to the 60-70c MINIMUM from before! RGB is cool too... Thanks for the help!
Ah that's such a shame @Tanziebob - sorry to hear.....Kinda wish I'd been brave enough to do that now. My computer has been on its way back to PC Specialist since Friday morning .. and they still haven't received it. Turns out DPD have either lost it or damaged the packaging to such an extent that they're having to repackage it, depending which story you believe. Initially saying lost, then saying damaged. Thery claim it's going to take around 3 days to repackage, before delivering to PC Specialist. Potentially, assuming the computer does actually turn up, get fixed, and arrive back with me in a good working condition (not holding my breath) it could be a month from start to finish, as PC specialist are now saying it might take up to 2 weeks to repair. In the meantime, I'm limping along with a borrowed PC that is on it's last legs.
I did mention to the guy at PC Specialist about the concern for these coolers .. he just said that, if there were enough issues with them, they'd issue a recall and just replace them. Although when I raised the concern about, if that happened, actually having to send the computer back again, he was a bit vague.
