computer crashing when playing games.

The person that did it copied the step by step guide spyder posted for me. Thats how he set it up.
Without being able to go through the steps with that person I cant really comment on whether or not they did it correctly. Very often when people on here tell us they followed step by step, when we start fault finding with them we find that they have actually missed steps or not followed steps exactly.

If PCS are telling you it hasn't been setup correctly it sounds like the process wasn't followed properly and needs to be re-done. That's only an assumption though as I don't know what conversation you have had with the tech support.

Am getting so stressed out with this machine now. Blue screen of death again when playing games. Same error message as last time. Whea uncorrectable error. That is the message that showed last time and motherboard was at fault.

There isn't alot any of us can do. As you have previously been advised by PCS and us your windows install was most likely not done properly and is most likely not correctly configured. It needs to be redone correctly.

As you are unable to carry out the install yourself I would recommend raising an RMA with PCS and get them to do it.

At the moment you're flitting between 3 support sources and it's only going to confuse matters.

I would just deal with PCS otherwise we're likely just going to complicate matters.

No point in getting stressed, you know how to produce the error, feed that back to PCS and get an RMA, or ask for a refund.

Its just over a year old. Can i still even get a refund.

Its had a new motherboard.
New GPU
2x New NVMe Drives.

Not sure what else to do now tbh.
You need to discuss that with PCS, it's not something we can advise on. But if there's an issue, then PCS need to work to correcting it.

The point is to try to reduce the stress it's causing you, that's not gonna help anything.

If you have any problems raising an RMA or dealing with PCS support, let me know and we'll see if we can get one of the PCS forum admins to help out.

Just want to try and ease this process for you, don't want you getting too stressed.

Yes. Thank you for help. But when i ring PCS up. all they keep doing is talking me through how to reinstall windows. I know am doing it right when they telling me because am reading everything back to them. And then it crashes again with same error code. then i get told to reinstall windows. Told them i have done it. and so on.

Ok, I'm going to see if @moosEh or @Monarch may be able to help you out.

I've just gone over this whole thread to see if I can try and assess what's happening to help out.

My guess is it's actually the RAM causing the problem. A lot of stress testing doesn't really stress test the RAM.

Would you be comfortable removing the RAM? If you are, take out 3 of the sticks and just leave one in. See if the issue persists. If it does, take the stick out and put it to one side before replacing it with one of the other 3. If it continues, repeat until you have tried all the RAM sticks.

If the issue continues I'm fairly certain all that's left is the PSU.

Just so that the waters aren't being muddied. For your trials, make sure nothing is plugged into the PC that you don't absolutely need for testing/use. You want to have as few factors as possible when trying to find the root cause. USB devices can be looked at as potential causes down the line. Obviously mouse & keyboard etc are necessary so that's all fine :) Remember that when PCS have your system, they won't have exactly the same setup as you do at home so you need to try and keep it as close to that environment as possible.

Hey @carlos726811, First of all my apologies that you have had these issues. Reading through the entire thread I would recommend you book the system in for an RMA so we can look at it more closely here. You can either call us to do that OR log into your PCS account and request a return from your account.

If you could then PM me your RMA number and i'll have a look at the history.

You haven't been a pest at all, seriously pleased you got to the bottom of it, and very pleased it was software rather than hardware.

Well done for persevering. You're always welcome back whenever you need.

Quite concerning that such a well known software could be causing so much hassle. I would be tempted to let them know and to see if there was any comeback.

For anyone else troubleshooting and finding themselves here, it shows the importance of a known sanitised base. If you go directly to your usage setup when troubleshooting, you can muddy the waters. When you get this deep in the woods always keep the amount of variables to a minimum when stress testing a system :)
