Clarify the "processing time" in the "my orders" section

I keep some essential files in the cloud by I encrypt them first. I also store the install file for the encryption software I use in the cloud so that if the worst happens I can install the encryption software on any PC/laptop and access my files. Naturally the encryption key isn't stored anywhere but in my head. ;)

They must have lots of orders and lots of catching up after Xmas.

i just spoke to someone on chat and they said

"with the current position of your system in the queue i would expect your system to go into building on Tuesday, once built it will then be stress tested for 12-24 hours and if successful it will then be authorised for dispatch so i would expect this system to be with you middle next week"

Good to know.
Is that the live chat feature that you've used?
I might try that with mine.

Whatever you do, don't hold them to those dates, please, these are all ESTIMATES. It's impossible to give exact timelines.

What I'm saying is if they're a day or two over, don't be phoning them or messaging them every 5 minutes as I guarantee that will delay the build more than just letting them get on with it.

Oh dont worry i am aware they are estimates! i am guessing i will get it by the end of next week at the moment..

How will it delay the build?

Just from my own experience of customer service, those that moan have their ticket pushed to the back of the queue. I'm not saying PCS do that, I'm just saying in my own experience.

clevo NH55RDQ
If it says Clevo it's a laptop :)

Clevo is a company that makes laptop chassis which companies like PCS use as the basis for custom laptops. Most PCS laptops are Clevo based.
Other companies that do similar things are Tongfang (who make the chassis PCS sell as Recoil, Fusion, and Vyper I think) and Quanta who do the chassis PCS call Proteus. The Proteus is a Quanta NLCA apparently.
