This may not be the right place to post but though id ask on this thread first.

The GPU (Merc 319 6800XT) in my system, has 2 8-pin connectors, it seems to be connected via a single pcie 8-pin and 6+2pin cable to the PSU. Should it have 2 cables from the PSU to ensure proper power draw. PSU is RM850x, i haven't noticed any issue with the system running so far but wondered if it is a potential issue?

hi guys,
don't know if this helps anyone with their build queues, however i ordered my PC on 30th Dec and it went into building this morning (didn't know they do that on a Saturday), after 23 WD. As a matter of fact it moved into testing an hour ago (!!!!). For reference i've ordered a 5600x with AMD 6800, however i suspect that what was holding it back was the case (Coolermaster H500 ARGB) which i believe came back in stock yesterday!!!

I'm beyond excited!

Dear forum member,

So have had my pc since tuesday now i have a 6800XT and a 5800x in my build and all i can say is guys dont change your orders it is worth the wait 100 percent i have been blown away every day since tuesday.
I was one of the people that after waiting for about a month i was becoming very inpatient, i ordered on december 12th and recieved it here on february 2.
But honestly if you ordered a amd gpu and cpu i have noticed orders are getting delivered quiet a bit faster than the nvidia orders because i feel like most people still dont wanne go all amd wich is understandable but i dont care about raystracing and i have always wanted to try a amd gpu.
I can tell you the 6800XT is worth every penny i payed for it and same with the cpu i am abolutly blown away and i also wanne apoligise to pc specialist and the forum for bitching a bit to much in the past.
Also the radeon software is great and really ez to use.
I hope everyone gets his builds soon and just be patient it is worth the wait.

Kind regards vinceptic

I did want to go all AMD, but after realising I'd never get an RTX3080 before Christmas, I upgraded from a 3600X to a 5600X the moment they became available on PCS, and then to a 6800XT the moment they became available on PCS.

Still didn't see any movement for another 4 weeks, and needed it before the year end to take advantage of a company grant for homeworkers (which has been extended now, due to further lockdowns), so called up and asked what was actually in stock for quick build/delivery.

I finally ended up with an RTX3070 and 5800X...which I'm very happy with.
