I disagree, I used to see a lot more decent snipers on BC2 where there was no option to go prone.
However my preferred game types are rush and cq domination - cq dom you would be stupid to try and snipe, snipers on rush are useless (especially when attacking) and shouldn't be encouraged anyway as they lead to boring, slow paced games.

i guess I am lucky, not having any issues the beta is running excellently, i think its a great game. and I love the new updated battle log and being able to have a map of the game open on another monitor / tablet or phone.

I dunno, I kinda like it.

I like the spawn points thing, and the video feed you get of that location (including soldiers).

And comeon, who didn't have a proper WOOAHH moment when point C...collapsed? :D

Well I played 1 round after finally getting in game thanks to farting with drivers and punkbuster then I soon realised I was playing a battlefield 3 expansion with a few more tweaks like car alarms and better swimming. I wont be buying this anytime soon.

So what do we all think then? Do you think of the gameplay?

Personally, I don't really like it. I know its a beta but it feels like a mix between MW3 and BF3. Do you guys think that final gameplay will be the same as in the beta?

I've only played for a short while -- a few rounds of Domination -- and overall I'm quite disappointed with the game. The game played smoothly on Ultra on a 690 on a single monitor and dodging behind cover while being shot actually prevented more hits (no more time travelling bullets!), but I felt that the graphics were not as good as BF3 and something didn't feel quite right about the movement. I also felt it was easier to hit than in BF3, but that may have just been me.

I will play the beta more in the coming week or so, but at the moment I'm glad I've not pre-ordered and will probably not but this until I can get it all for a good price.

Its alright for some, I can't get into the game and my problem has been escalated to specialist support and possibly the developers

I can't get into any servers now, I just keep getting the loading screen which eventually goes black and sits there forever.

Tom i am sure you will buy the game :p Its beta only.How you people can say its bad if we can play only one map.I didnt like bf3 when i played caspian border map.In my opinion worst map ever.

Ive done a complete U-turn. Told the missus to get me this instead of GTA V for my birthday. I dont have time for storys . I need to shoot people NOW!! A few features which impressed me included the new reload feature of vehicles. No more cannon spam. Also the point and click UI for spanw points harks back to BF2 at last.
