I genuinely wouldn't hold your breath. The demand is through the roof. Best to get yourself to a point where you're ready to order and then just check daily for movement until you get a low.

Yes, they often put a date of when they are expecting stock back in though.

The entire world is likely out of stock. If you get the chance anywhere try to be quick to purchase if it's what you want :)

Can't see any date listed. The next one in the 5080 list is nearly £100 more. Is that actually worth it? I'm probably only a couple of days away from ordering and couldn't help but check the price again and just saw this.

This is going to give me a nervous breakdown until it's ordered, lol

Thanks for the assistance.

If anybody has a date that they'll be back in stock, I'd be extremely grateful.
You could ring PCS but I doubt they will know. The cards are basically all the same so paying the extra £100 depends on whether you are prepared to wait or not. It could be days or it could be weeks, especially as it's the Chinese holidays at the moment.

I messaged them on WhatsApp so we'll see what they say.

Does anybody see any issues with me going for the Fractal North TG XL over the Fractal 7 define XL?

It's going in my living room and I like the wood effect on the front.

Thanks

It's a stunning case, your temps will be a little higher than in a different case, but certainly not in any way that's going to hamper performance. Good choice I'd say.

I know the Fractal 7 has the dampener, but it's a little more....boring to look at.

Are the temps due to less fans or less space or something else?

Thanks

It’s more of an aesthetic case over performance. Nothing you can do to get around that, it’s just a limitation of the case design, they went for form primarily. But it’s still very good at cooling, just not as good as other high end cooling cases like the O11 or the Torrent

Now the 5080 Zotac is no longer showing as pre-order. I'm ready to order so does anybody have any advice?

Thanks all

Put the order in and then get advice would be my advice. Cancelling is easy.... buying isn't ;)

I'm assuming that they've taken it away as they're not expecting any back in for a while. Is the Palit worth around £100 more?

Pallit are a good brand..I had a Pallit GPU in my old system and had no problems. I wouldn't say it was worth £100 more than the Zotac..I'd probably say they are pretty similar. Personally, if it was me, rather than getting the pallit, I'd get the Gigabyte Windforce...we don't normally recommend cards like that as the cost normally isn't worth it but it's only a fiver.

The Fractal North XL is pretty darn good in terms of performance, one of the best in fact.

Hoping someone can advise me on this.

Because the Zotac 5080 was no longer able to be selected (not even pre-order) when I ordered my PC I ended up picking the next card up which was the Pallit.

My order is still in the "pre-production" phase which according to the blurb is the section before it gets build.

Having taken a look at the configuration tool, it's not only not showing the Pallit available at all, but it's showing that the Zotac can now be selected again.

If my pc isn't actually being built yet, does this mean that my card my be out of stock even though it was in stock when I ordered?

I'd be just as happy if they switch back to the Zotac and refund me the £100.

Sorry for the long winded post.

Thanks

I would recommend giving PCS a call in the morning, as they will have the best idea of the 5080 stock they currently have or are expecting. But the changes to the configurator do suggest they may have had a delivery of the Zotac 5080s.
