I guess it goes to show how much everyone feels screwed over by Nvidia...but that also assumes the stocks from board partners are at a higher/more consistent level than Nvidia and its board partners.

I do think stocks are much better with this release, but yeah, I think so many people are probably on the pre order list for Nvidia 5000 cards they’ve probably got fed up or just hedging their bets to see if they could get one of these.

If it's any consolation mate the Sapphire stuff is excellent quality and their customer service was brilliant when I had a faulty R9 580x Nitro
Yeah, I love Sapphire, always used to get sapphire models back in the day, they've always been the top dog on AMD IMHO

The only reason I was going for the ASRock initially was the size was under 300mm which my case is limited to, this one I think is 330, I think I can work around that with a bit of fiddling.

Otherwise I would have chosen a Sapphire straight off.

Can't say I'm surprised

Quick!!!
I really want to, especially with the recommended PSU being an 800w one. But I can't justify it right now...

That’s the site where you add it to your basket but it never enters the basket on desktop. On mobile when you check out it says that quantity isn’t available.

May have secured an ASRock Steel Legend 9070XT, but not going to get my hopes up until it’s actually here. Supposed to arrive Wednesday.
Excellent.

I know I said literally last night that I shouldn't be buying for now but the peeps at TechPowerUp recommend a 700W PSU for the Steel Legend 9070XT, which makes it very much an option for me with my 850W and the benchmarks by a few of peeps regularly mentioned here have it as a solid performer above my RTX 3080. I'm aware the GPUs are borderline paper launch territory given how quickly they sold, but I guess I'll be keeping an eye out for the next batch.

I bet 3 Herring that Zeus will release the Kracken on Azerbaijan affecting saffron prices in the west before it arrives.

Everyone place your stance please
I disagree. Atlantis is getting it first!

I do match your stake though.

Damn, of course you’re right, it would be Poseidon releasing the Kraken and not Zeus! Woe is my education!

Just a note for anyone upgrading to AMD from Nvidia.

5000 series Nvidia dropped support for PhysX so if you’re someone who has older titles in their catalogue that you plan on revisiting, you may want to keep hold of your current Nvidia card as a backup PhysX accelerator should you switch back to Nvidia in the future.

Just worth keeping in mind.
