Thank you both for the RMA clarification :)

So just to clarify - take out one stick - test for a few days, then swap and test few days then grab logs?

Or should i memtest then ram take out one stick test?

Also if pcs get back to me about the bios upgrade should i still do this or hold off until Ram test is complete ?

TBH I wouldn't bother with uploading logs. Either running on one stick will resolve the issues you're having, or it won't.

I have sent another message to PCS to help with bios as I've not heard back from Fridays message, so hopefully they come back soon. I assume its just a busy period or the message got lost.

I didn't get a chance to remove a stick of ram yesterday but should have some pc time tonight :)

Thank you everyone for your help on this :)

I would call rather than message.

Think one of my sticks of ram is faulty maybe, hard to say:/ but seeing higher temps using one stick over the other so maybe?

On a side note i never want to have to fiddle with ram ever again after all this lol

But do you get the reported [performance issues running one just on stick?
Sorry i forgot to put that down, the frame drops seem more extreme on one stick than the other but still getting drops with either stick.

Wow definitely still struggling on either stick. Warhammer works better on one of the sticks over the other, but still crashes fairly often. Hitman still hitting sub 20 at times.

So maybe both? I really don't see too much difference between them outside of one game

Possibly not RAm then. Could you export and upload your Application and System logs again please? I'd like to see whether there are any clues whilst it was running on just one RAM stick at a time.

Hey i know its been a while just wanted to give an update, had a bit of back and forth with pcs and bios versions, with them sending me old versions then eventually sending the latest one so im back to testing again. Finally on 1415 bios

Im not seeing much difference in preformance on the new version but im still running on the one stick of ram, but from more testing i think both sticks run about the same in terms of preformance except one definitely has bigger drops in frames.

Its been a bit cooler recently so i can see temps are not affected like i thought.

I think wow can be struck from the list of games that im looking at preformance wise, apparently dragonflight has added a while host of new bugs and issues to the game and framea are gonna drop no matter what.

There was mention in a deleted comment that disabling expo would help as 6k ram is unstable? But im not sure if thats true / still an issue on new bios version

Instability is if the pc is crashing with a BSOD, not related to frame issues.

Can you run Firestrike & Timespy in 3DMark to get a baseline for your hardware :)
ooof just ran both and the scores are...something else lol i was starting to think it was all in my head but timespy was 20k out of 29k, and firestrike was 27k out of 53k! D:

Ran the firestrike ultra and hada little better result being 17k/23k

Edit - think i might be thinking too much on this result and not fully understanding them lol

For the firestrike and timespy, can you post the links once they've ran? Not sure what you've put into Dropbox but I can't access.

After a test, if you click "Compare online" that will give you the URL to post.
