Ordered this last night after running a few things over with Spyder. I was waiting to see what the 4080 Super looked like and from what I can see if Ray Tracing isn't important the XTX with an extra 8GB VRAM is the way to go. This will be the first AMD GPU I have had so was a little apprehensive...
New build arrived yesterday. Absolutely over the moon and once again PCS provided great service from start to finish. CPU was well packaged and build quality excellent. Was pleased with the Zotac card and must admit when I seen it was white I didn't know what to think but it has grown on me...
I was happy with whatever PCS were going to give me to be honest. I'm not into overclocking or anything technical and as I've said have a Zotac 2060 Super which has served me well the past 12 months. The Zotac card looks nice and minimalistic with a nice white lighting effect on the Zotac...
My build is now marked as awaiting dispatch, 11 working days. Rang this morning to see what card was put in the machine and informed it was a Zotac. The batch of cards they got were Zotac so anyone with a 3070 build around now will likely get a Zotac. Pretty mixed reviews on the card from what I...
I recieved an email this morning advising my machine is going into the building phase. Just to let others know I was at 11 working days today so alot quicker than I was expecting. Hopefully this gives others an idea of time frames.
I should mention the main components were:
GPU: 3070
CPU: 5800X
For the money that is not a great build. CPU, Cooling and PSU are questionable. Others who are much more knowledgeable than me will help you fix it, but yes, needs some work.
Sorry to jump in on someone else's chat but didn't want to open a new thread, seemed pointless. Spyder would a Coolermaster MasterLiquid Lite 240 be suffice for a 3070/5800X combo or should I be looking at a more expensive Corsair Cooler. I am several working days into my build so have time to...
The thing that scares me with the 240 is the fact there is a chance, a small one I know that it could leak. Do you know if the temp reduction if using the 240 over the 212 is significant??
