I wonder if the observed average wait of 35-40 working days per order is correct for most of us with 3000 series cards? Seems like that is a somewhat good preliminary number, or should we not trust it too much?
There should be a pinned message all over this thread that tells you to ignore all automated emails if you have any pre-ordered good, especially the 3000 series GPU or a new ryzen CPU
yup, ordered on 12th Oct. Most likely not coming any sooner than december I'd guess. When I asked about the 850W psu shortage (that's due to come in back to stock late Nov), they said most likely the psu is going to come first
upgrading from a lenovo legion y520 laptop with i7-7700HQ, 8GB (upgraded to 16GB) RAM, 256GB SSD (upgraded to a 1TB samsung 970EVO m.2) + 1TB HDD and a Nvidia 1050Ti 4GB. It's been good to me these past years, still working fine, but I can feel it getting slower bit by bit, cleaning it and...
As I said earlier, got my sub-order / amendment today for the change from intel to AMD, and since I have a strix 3080 in my order, I asked them if the architecture swap messes with that, got this answer: "It won't affect your position in the build queue (there is no separate queue for the...
sorry for barging in here, but maybe you have a link on that AMD and ram stick number info? that's interesting, I wonder how much of a difference it has
Must be the finance thing, I used 2 different cards now with all the amendments I made, but it was instant and no problems encountered. Maybe they can figure something out for you
I basically just spammed live chat until I got put into a queue for that, and I used the inbox within the account selecting "amend an order" when messaging them, got a response 1 working day later, I could see it was quite simplified and rushed, but it got me what I needed in the end. Oh and I'm...
I also emailed them to change from intel build to the zen3 AMD on their launch day, got a response that they're "working on changing it for me" and just got a sub-order just like Voeille said, but i'm waiting on a 3080 strix ordered on 12th of October so I suppose I'm not really making my order...
Yes, considering it costs 2-3 times less than other similar spec monitors, it's a damn steal! I've been using it since late spring connected to my laptop, so I can't really use the full 144hz because it only runs on a 4GB 1050Ti, but I'll bookmark that guide and maybe try it with the new rig!
I actually saved on the monitor by getting a xiaomi mi monitor, 34in, 3440x1440, 144hz, no gsync, but it is still damn good for its price, good colours, no ghosting or other issues, bezels are super small too, minimalistic design. Will hopefully finally get to use it fully soon!
I wish haha, in holiday season my current laptop will have to suffocate under the workloads, so this system will be the savior of my work life and hobby life
This is the ultimate patience training. PCS is in the process of changing my system from intel to AMD now, then I'll be set on my final choices and the waiting game continues. Maybe after so much time, we will be even happier when we finally get the rigs
I wonder if AMD will have good stock levels for their launch. For us 3080 folks I guess it's either going to be a swap to AMD gpu or hope that enough people cancel their 3080 to move you up the queue for that limited stock.
