I followed @Martinr36 method.
Clean install instructions:
Download a new copy of Windows using the Media Creation Tool to an 8GB (min) USB.
Boot that USB and choose a Custom Install.
Delete all UEFI partitions on the system drive (EFI System, Recovery, MSR Reserved, Primary).

I didn't really believe all that they said about PCS not providing a clean install. But after I did a clean install myself, I saw day and night differences. It's worth the effort and took me around 20 minutes.
When I tried my partner's Oculus Rift on my PC, it kept showing a message that specs are low to run VR. I'm wondering why that's the case? His PC has a lower spec than mine but he doesn't get that message.
Indeed :ROFLMAO: I had iPhones for more than 10 years and finally left partially as I still have my MacBook. Switching to Andriod and adjusting wasn't as bad as I thought. I do miss the Apple privacy aspects. I love my phone can last a couple of days without seeing the charger 😌 My old iPhone...
PCS replied ' it is a full standard version of windows just like if anyone downloaded windows and installed it without activating it. All putting your key in does is activate it. You don’t need to re-install etc'
Morning @NoddyPirate!
My specs were without an OS. Moving forward I'll post it that way and add Windows 10 Pro activated.
I understand the importance of a clean install and issues linked with replacing and updating drivers multiple times but I wasn't sure how this test OS was supposed to look...
I'm fully capable of installing and reinstalling the OS myself. I have built custom PCs myself from scratch and the installed OS. I read the information on the website as @NoddyPirate quoted. It's after that I chatted with them. See attached below. I'm frustrated that when I asked PCS to confirm...
That's because I had activated it to Windows Pro 10 with Microsoft's help. They had a workaround. The OS was mentioned that it wasn't activated and Microsoft confirmed it was the unactivated Home edition. I'm aware the PCS don't provide OS support, that why I called Microsoft when I had key issues.
@SpyderTracks I should have posted here instead of contacting Microsoft about the activation. It would be very helpful if this added to the 'to do list' for new customers buying without an OS as I read that list several times. I wished PSC gave me a heads up on this rather than saying the test...
I've been using the test environment till now so I will reinstall it as per your advice, install the drivers and run windows update. How long can I postpone it as the work schedule and weekends are a bit busy?
I called up Microsoft as I couldn't activate it myself and they helped me convert it into Windows 10 Pro with the key I had without reinstalling it. I've updated Windows and AMD GPU drivers. Is there anything else I should do?
Also, PCS support didn't mention anything about what you said.
