It is £21 more but yes can still go for it if you think will make a difference with VR or say to play FS (in terms of productivity I won’t need anything like that).
I'm reaching the final few days from my order being built but I was reading on a different topic and something came to mind.
I won't do any VR this year (mostly because this has already been a very expensive year and the GPU is still coming..) but would this build (other than the GPU) be good...
I was thinking of getting the G9 precisely because of the curve but figured I wouldn't have space for it so opted for a LG 38GL950G.
I see so many people saying a 38in is massive, I just can't agree or maybe I got used to it.
But I still would have liked to try that curve hehe
I'm just getting ready for the struggle that will be running the pc with a 1650 super on this screen :)
Just spoke to someone from PCS asking advise regarding a change I wanted to make and they confirmed the estimated build date is still the 30th.
And that’s what I was expecting to do. My question to them was if it was easy to install the drivers for all the components after I install my copy of Windows and they said I wouldn’t have to do that, only insert my windows key.
And changing the build is not the only issue, also the amount of stuff I bought during this waiting period that I wasn't planning on buying yet like the monitor, pc speakers, a gaming keyboard.. but happy with all the purchases so far. The speakers will arrive today (Logitech G560).
Can’t blame you, I’m in the same situation (today changed motherboards, from a TUF B550 to a Rog Strix x570 and back to a TUF x570 :D).
however, I really think investing in a GPU like that at the moment is a bad deal considering the likely price reduction and new launches in September or so...
