Got confirmation that I'm first in the queue and it will surely be built either today or tomorrow morning and tested tomorrow evening. If everything alright, will be ready to be shipped Thursday or at the latest Friday morning. That is reassuring :) hopefully it will work out that way haha
My original date was last Thursday.. I understand delays, one, two, but orders done later being done first is a bit odd, when everything was in stock. I'll give them a ring to see what they have to say.
Yeah will probably do that but I've just noticed there is also a Sunday delivery so I assume it can also be ready before 3pm on Saturday, as they are open on Saturday, or is the warehouse closed and it is only the office open? Would you know @SpyderTracks ?
Yes I would definitely do that but the issue I was thinking is exactly as above, if it doesn't get ready by that Saturday, do they send it the following Saturday? lol that would beat the purpose :D
I still won't have mine for the weekend :( they moved the build date to tomorrow. I could upgrade for a Saturday or Sunday delivery but then it may not be done on time anyway.
Yeah.. the person in the live chat said there is a night shift and it could be updated then. I clearly don't have enough work to do to keep me busy and thinking of something else rather than baby pc. :x
I think it all fits but I can confirm soon once my pc is built (estimated for today but never sure). The case is the same (razer edition) and the cooler is the same.
Yeah, on my 1to1 with my manager last week, we have discussed how the situation will progress regarding wfh and he thinks we won't be in the office this year.. so if I have to stay at home so long, might as well make it nicer! :D
Nice :)
I have done the build again just to check how much I spent overall since this started as the order only shows the initial price tag.
What started as a budget of nearly £1500 for a pc and some sort of £600 for the screen and eventually another £1000 for a new GPU in a few months became...
Actually did another last minute change haha
Removed the GPU because a new opportunity arose for a 2070 super.
Now, I'm wondering how they test the system, do they use their own GPU temporarily?
Is yours finished now?
Not an expert at all :) just thought it came with it, can swear I read a review somewhere that mentioned it.
Also because as if this is only for gaming and assuming the cooler actually brought the thermal paste pre-applied, I wouldn't think the CPU would have many problems with high temps...
