Eero isn't too bad price wise unless you want the Pro. I mainly got it last year because got tired of the crappy VM router.

I've got Eero mesh solution. So have my PC, Printer and Sky Q connected via Ethernet. Might be another option. Eero mesh wifi

I think you've got it nailed. Just check to make sure your case will be able to accommodate a larger GPU in the future (3070 or 3080 as an example).

If it helps, my spec is pretty close to yours and I'm using a AOC CU34G2X/BK 34". It's my son's PC and he mainly uses it for MSFS 2020. Most of the settings are on High or Ultra with FPS restricted to 60. Runs like a dream.
