No expert (they'll come along shortly) but here's my 2p's worth:

1. Why not the Ryzen 7 5800x?
2. I think the MOBO is overkill.
3. Not sure if the 3060Ti is powerful enough to power 2 monitors?
4. I think you'll be fine with the 500GB Firecuda 530. Don't think you need 1TB.
5. I would up the PSU to 850W to future proof.

What's your max budget?

When you say 2 monitors, what would the second be used for?

£2,000ish without the monitors. The second monitor is to extend the flight sim view across to the Co-pilot seat. Was actually considering 3 monitors but the other half put a stop to that.

The answer to that is ok dear I'll only buy 1
That's crazy overpriced for the C49RG which is only 120Hz remember.

You can now pick it up most places for around £700.

It's definitely what I'd recommend without breaking the budget, it's 5120 x 1440 which is 2 1440p screens together but of course without the bezel. Makes flight sims uber immersive.

If budget wasn't an issue, the the G9 is a better panel with higher brightness and 240Hz, but it's also a lot more expensive at £1100 and flight simming doesn't benefit from high refresh so much:

For the build, I would drop the motherboard to the Strix X590, no need for the one you've specced, up the RAM to 32Gb and add a wifi AX200 card.

I'd also suggest Windows 10 for now, upgrading to 11 is free, but there are still bugs that need to be worked out.

Thank you for all your help with this. I think I have made the changes correctly (although I couldn’t find an X590 MOBO on the list - so assumed this was supposed to be an X570).

Question on the monitor side. I’d thought the recommendation here was to ensure the response time is 1ms or less and at least a 144hz refresh rate for a 1440px screen. If I go for the C49RG am I going to notice any issues in the image and is the GPU the right spec for this? I do like the idea of a bezel-less screen.

If you can post the configuration link we can see if we can optimise the build a bit.

Don't get too hung up on refresh rate and response times, refresh rate doesn't really mean much over 120hz but especially for flight sums, response yes stated are basically meaningless, you have to look at 3rd party reviews for real figures.

If it helps, my spec is pretty close to yours and I'm using a AOC CU34G2X/BK 34".

It's my son's PC and he mainly uses it for MSFS 2020.

Most of the settings are on High or Ultra with FPS restricted to 60. Runs like a dream.

@SpyderTracks - you mentioned you would kindly take a look at my spec and 'optimise a bit'. Here is the link:

Sorry about that, have had flueyness and just been napping most of the evening.

Just had a look through.

The only things I'd add would be:

Up the wifi card to the AX200, supports modern standards, the one you have selected is over a decade old now and most routers are using much more modern standards.

Personally, I would still choose windows 10 at the moment until they've worked out all the bugs. It's easy to upgrade and free, you just do it through windows update, so you can still do it at any time you like.

You can still amend the order after buying and it won't affect your place in the queue at all.

I need you to take a seat, I’ve got some terrible news. The AX200 has disappeared from the configurator. I don’t know for how long, or if it’s even coming back at all. Let’s all take a moment to pray.
