Calling out the command "Pansy" makes Alexa turn on the stair and kids bedroom lights so that my two pansy kids can go up by themselves when it's dark. 😂
Nest thermostat was definitely handy pre-Covid. To be able to control the heating and hot water remotely etc. Not used it much since as WFH since March 2020.
Not really lazy or all that concerned about carbon footprint (I'll take a V8 anyday!). Just a geek who likes his toys. ☺️
Oh I have the TV remote setup on my iPhone 🤣
And the two Hue lights (ceiling lamps) in son's room are now linked to his PC so they mimic the light output from his monitor.
Although he hates being woken up to me playing Chop Suey on his Echo Dot. 🤣
Let's see.....
1. Ring doorbell + Ring cam (which is installed on my patio and covers my garden)
2. Sonos Beam & Sonos One (both with Alexa enabled)
3. Loads of Philips Hue bulbs (x1 LED strip; x10 bulbs)
4. Two front lights setup with smart switch
5. Nest Thermostat
6. A few smart wall sockets...
This would be my recommendation....

I've got a Sky mini as well as a Sky booster. And the mini still loses connection to the Q from time to time. And yes, I believe Sky uses its own mesh as well.
Tempted to re-house one of the Eero so I can hardwire the Sky mini box as well.
