I've fallen down the same rabbit-hole, which leads into some warrens of Wuxia and Xianxia novels too.
I'd add:
'Mother of Learning' by Nobody103
'I shall seal the Heavens', by Er Gen
The cradle series by Will Wight
All as something worth looking into, I think the first two are available free...
@Bhuna50 If its OK, I'd really like the Bloodbowl game. A friend has the boardgame but we honestly struggled to figure out how to play it, just last week. Same happened before with Gloomhaven but playing the PC version really helped me understand the rules (plus, I'd be able to play it without...
I'd second this. I use VR a lot, I have a Vive, a Vive pro and a hololens for AR stuff, (work toys, so work pays) but the pick up and go nature of the Quest 2 is awesome. Especially if you plan on having lots of noob strangers use VR on an open day or outreach session.
You should have seen our...
Looks lovely, but either there is a really odd reflection or you seem to have put a candle under your GPU, which while not a specific breach of PCS' open case policy, is probably pushing things a bit - testing out the cooling fans?
I think this is the link Martin meant to add, for you to read: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/please-read-before-posting-collaboration-of-helpful-hints.77691/
I used to get in some nuts called 'Beer nuts'. This was 20-25 years ago, in the midlands. They were basically peanuts in their skins perhaps with a faintly sweet wash (though I might be imagining that, it was so long ago) and they looked quite uniformly brown. They were COVERED with large salt...

Is there anyone in addition to mobile fidelity that you'd recommend? I've been getting into vinyl and mine are mostly charity shop second hands or Amazon 'pot luck' new pressings. I send back about 1 in 5 from Amazon as being really muddy or otherwise rubbish.
Got my reservation in, FINALLY Rimworld doesn't have to stop when I leave for work - that's two hours a day, five days a week, minimum, reclaimed for gaming!
Hi I'm looking for help with a Laptop, for my brother in law. His budget is about £800-900, though this comes in under (I can give him the option of larger storage if he wants, without breaking the bank).
Use case is light video editing and streaming exercise classes (he doesn't game). Windows...
And don't worry, PCS have an open case policy, you won't void the warranty just by opening it up and taking a look, only of you damage something and checking eg the RAM is seated right is fine.
edit ninja'd
Does it make any beeps, do any lights come on or fans start spinning?
*edit* and could you post your full build? It will help the experts here to help you!
You have had some great advice on this thread, particularly in terms of AMD being better than Intel. I can't make you listen to the advice but just to add to it - my work pc is still running fairly decent VR on a 970 gpu but I can't upgrade the gpu because of the psu being crap. My advice is to...
