Appreciate your comments, was from Amazon, see current link, but does seem to have changed a bit, comments not as I remember.
Spec looks same as LG site, except the cable from AC/DC adaptor is not UK 3 pin:

Ordered a new LG 32 inch monitor from Amazon, just about the only place that said they had them in stock. Said 4-5 day delivery took 4 weeks, anyway!
I was surprised that the monitor was not just 240v mains but with an adaptor for 19v, but seems it had come from Italy & had a 2 pin adapter...
I ordered the Targus Chill Mat but never arrived, supplier refunded & Argos had back in stock & got in 2 days, all prices gone up now.
Just right for the use on lap & sitting on sofa as PHITOL says, I would recommend good for my 17inch Defiance laptop. The Kilm Cyclone looks good for more heavy...
Ok thanks will work up the energy for a Desktop re-install, not used WIN 10 before, so fingers crossed.
While your there, I also have so many assorted event viewer errors on new laptop, hundreds in fact, advised by PCS to do a re-install. Do you know if the supplied CD is just in case drivers...
With a PCS laptop you get a CD with complete documentation, drivers etc BUT not with a DESKTOP?
Is this right , might need to have to do a re-install but no detailed book or disc supplied is this correct?
Dell 32 Curved Gaming Monitor: S3220DGF & ASUS ROG Strix XG32VQR 32" 144hzHDR Curved Monitor.
Both similar specs & response with FreeSync Premium Pro good for my Gpu. Dell seems a bit more recent.
I was looking for 4k but not found with freesync 32inch & specs to match, the HD with better specs...
Anyone guidance? Need a new monitor to make use of new PC with good graphic card 8gb AMD RX 5700 XT. For gaming & video use some CAD etc.
Initial spec is 32 inch curved, 4k, freesync 2 +, good refresh rate. The good post above does seem to confirm that some specs are mutually exclusive unless...
Anyone suggest a cooling pad that actually fits a 17inch laptop.
The Targus Chill Mat Quiet AWE55EU looked a quite good option but is only 15inch wide.
Ideally I want to be able to use on a lap at times so ones with legs or need to have clearance undermeath not good.
I also went for the same choice of laptop after asking about the feel of the keys, good choice happy with keyboard soft and quiet laptop looks good as well. Still finding my way around.
I can get very similar specs for the Optimus, Recoil & Defiance options, leaving out the Octane as rather heavy & large.
Looks like Recoil has more control of key backlights, hard to tell about sound from short descriptions.
All 3 similar weight, thickness of Optimus at 30mm, Recoil 26.75mm &...
I have so far narrowed down a new laptop to an Optimus 17inch, can you help with a couple of questions? The keyboard, not too loud & clicky? The backlit function, what colour options & do the actual keys light up to see characters? Does seems a good compromise with weight, size, configuration...
Multi purpose, not heavy gaming but some design work, good online response. 17inch screen to improve on current laptop. Future proof so max Ram, have good spec PCs to last. Budget around about this mark but if can go higher if seems worth it.
Any thoughts or tweaks welcome? I had Recoil & Defiance also in the frame, decided Defiance perhaps too slim for cooling & Recoil keys bit loud.
