Ok so out of memory opengl errors starting again on restart lmao
also for some reason i cant get wifi to turn on on this pc since windows reinstall 🤔 i have tried to install my motherboard drivers but nothing, so odd. this whole pc annoys me and confuses me 🤣
Right ive run this, seemed to run fine, got to 82c as usual but frames seemed ok 76fps-400 lmao i cant see anything myself in hwinfo that would indicate an issue. funny enough i had the shadow glitches on that program too. also is heaven benchmark ment to stutter alot? there where hitches what...
the only one ive not done is the heaven benchmark, ill do that in the next few days. ive been pretty burned out over all these issues 😅 i will say though i think they should be pinned on the forum and i have saved them in a doc for future trouble shooting as i think they are incredibly detailed...
Done window reinstall, had no network drivers so had to get a laptop and move the drivers from it to my pc
Stil same issues, the nvlddmkm still occurs and games crash, pop in ect. Ill do the memtest later
I swear this new gpu is like a wind tunnel 😭 makes so much noise compared to the last one. just getting the win 10 install ready is making it hyperventilate lol
I think smi might be silicon magician? not sure why there is two of them in there.
And funny thing is the solid gm drive does not have this error on its page, just the samsung 980 ssd that the windows install is on.
Ok so tomorrow - clean windows install - then memtest.
hmm thats really wierd, i dont think ive anything from Satechi so not sure why thats in there. and i dont think ive installed anything that would have had that driver. clean install? of windows or of the m2 drivers?
i think imma do a few more tests and then see if i can just rma the whole pc...
wouldn't it just be amazing if both gpus are faulty lmao what sort of crap luck that would be.
will run memtest tomorrow and see how that gets on, ive heard it can take many hours so i will try and do it early if...
resize bar - yes frame rate is set to 144 global - should i do this individually instead? does it make a difference?
Again ive set this global, should it be individual?
Ive turned this on now lets see how it goes.
Disabled, first thing i did when i reinstalled windows aha
ill run this...
came back here to report i am still getting game crashes and nvlddmkm errors, poggers! so im guessing its nothing to do with the gpu, maybe lol.
will run through your reply DarkPaladin in the next message, appreciate the write up <3
Thank you :) honestly from my tests the lod and stuff for games remain unchanged and unplayable, miss my 1080 lol
Ah well. At least the pc seems more stable now! We will see how it goes.
Dont worry Id need to be having fun to ruin it haha 😬
What do you mean running my physical gpu? Ive downloaded gpuz and it says 4090 at the top so i think so?? Not sure.
Never mind! Got it to boot
Had to take the card out again, change a setting in the bios, pcie to integrated or something and put the card back in and now seems ok lol, if i run into any other issues i definitely want to send this thing back. Ive spent way to long fighting it
Also looking up reviews for this card mention poor build quality and cost cutting, bad vrm bad temps ect. Hopefully this is not the case because the temps are high enough on my pc and i really dont want the card to break on me soon lol
So got new gpu, no rgb on this one it seems, versions of this card do have rgb and look nice but the omniblack palit is kinda ugly with no lights, oh well! Thats just personal taste.
Anyway!
Put the gpu in screwed it all up and plugged all cables in, 4 beeps again 1 long 3 short, fans start...
