Hey mate, playing a lot of Escape from Tarkov recently, my GPU doesn't even go above 50% usage on most maps and feel the CPU is under a lot of stress, although I feel that I see other people with the 9900K getting better performance on the same games, I'm playing on an ASUS VG248QE @ 144hz, 1080p.
Yes mate playing at 1080p, playing on an ASUS VG248QE @ 144hz. I dunno man I've had people tell me the i9 9900X is terrible for gaming, and benchmark results prove that the 9900K is superior...?? Results on UserBenchMark back this up too.
My CPU sits around 50-60 degrees and I don't think it's...
This because of AMD's new stuff?
Would switching to AMD make any other components need replacing other than the mobo? Or would that require a different cooler too?
Hey guys, basically wanna upgrade my CPU to something more suited to gaming as not happy with my current CPU, I'm aware that I'll need to change mobo for a better CPU to be compatible hence why I'm asking on what's good and what I would need for that.
Money isn't really an issue but wouldn't...
Hey.
Somebody has asked if I could get a build for £350 max they need a monitor but have other peripherals already.
I know for that price you’re not gonna get anything amazing but I need somebody to link something/build something that is going to be the best you can get for that price.
The PC...
Haven't touched the router at all. Tried a different ethernet cable and no change. Any idea why my WIFI adapter no longer works? Has the orange triangle on device manager but can't seem to find a driver for it that enables it to work.
https://prnt.sc/q9tkur - This is the adapter on dev manager.
Just fresh installed windows, completely wiped all old partitions. Done all windows updates and installed nothing else apart from Google Chrome and this is my speedtest results - https://prnt.sc/q9srnf High ping aswell, this spikes up and down, even goes to like 1500 sometimes when playing games...
Haven't changed anything major other than installing a few extra games but all from credible sources such as steam etc. I connect via ethernet to the router. I connect my laptop via wifi and that pulls better speeds than my PC.. I'm not certain the restore point was fine so my next step is a...
So, had this PC about 8 months now, pretty good build however very recently started having trouble with slow internet speeds, getting like 1-4 MB/s.
If I connect my laptop to the same ethernet cable it gets 35-50 MB/s.
Not sure what the issue is, tried so many different things; windows...
GPU Temps underload are about 40-50 and CPU 60 ish, idle they both sit at around 20 for GPU and 30-40 for CPU. Seems cool enough.
I just use the build for gaming and general browsing.
Ordered with windows but have done complete reinstall since, everybody says that CPU is not optimal for gaming but surely it's not gonna have a negative impact on gaming?? It's a beast

I have a really good PC, just I dunno, seems way too stuttery and not smooth.

So recently downloaded MSI Afterburner trying to diagnose why my games feel a bit laggy even though fps is reasonable.
From what I've researched your frametime should stay relatively flat if looking at a graph. However mine is constantly spiking which would explain why my games feel...
