1) The fact you're having the same issues across multiple applications/games after a clean install of Windows strongly suggests it's a hardware issue. My guess would be the motherboard or PCIe slot is faulty.
2) I know it's frustrating to have to RMA it, but I can genuinely vouch for...
1) The Heaven Benchmark is primarily to check your GPU + CPU clocks under load, and your thermal performance in a possible gaming workload. If you somehow have a crash during this test, your system is unstable and basically confirms a hardware issue.
2) I still think you should call...
If you've:
Performed a fresh reinstall of Windows 11
Downloaded the latest drivers from ASUS
Downloaded the latest GPU driver from NVIDIA
Allowed Windows to fully update itself
Followed all of my troubleshooting + optimisation steps
Confirmed you aren't dealing with thermal issues after using...
Your GPU will likely be operating under a predefined fan curve until your OS has been installed and configured. Until you install software such as MSI Afterburner, your GPU will likely be running the fans at 0RPM until it reaches a specific temperature (at which point the fans will ramp up to...
I have no idea what SiliconMotion is. I assume it's on your PC for a good reason though.
Good observation. I never assumed CPU issues would be the cause, but I remember hearing about the BIOS issues from GamersNexus a while ago so it's possible.
I would do this individually. Some applications will have their own in-game settings and having conflicting FPS caps can cause stutters
Windows likely has the correct pre-set already, but I'd personally do this individually just to be certain
If it causes any issues, disable it. I have it on and...
Since you're still having issues, I figured I'd essentially go through every possible optimisation/test. I can see that you've already done some of these as other users have recommended them, but either way it's the extensive list I would do to ensure my PC is running correctly. Do these 1 step...
The best way to check it's working correctly after configuring the fans would be to run a stress test or benchmark test. You could try either Heaven Benchmark or 3DMark (Steam, requires in-app purchases).
Hopefully this solves your issue.
Edit: The person you called on the phone seemed to have...
Not to spoil your fun, but are you sure your PC is using your physical GPU? It might be worth using GPU-Z to confirm this.
Edit: I only ask this because you said you changed the BIOS settings to integrated and want to be 100% sure your new GPU is being used.
I don't know why they were set up like that. I've personally never come across the H150 being installed with the fans upside down on top of the radiator. The majority of people use the fans (underneath the radiator) to push the hot air in the radiator out of the case.
I would personally advise...
Mesh alone isn't effective at pushing air through a case. It ideally needs a good exhaust fan on the rear of the case, and exhaust fans at the top (which is often where the CPU/AIO coolers are placed).
From what I've seen, whoever built your PC installed the pump and radiator correctly, but...
Agreed. I've never seen the Cappelix set up to have the fans on top of the radiator.
Either they were installed and set up as intake fans, or they were incorrectly set up when trying to configure them as exhaust fans. Neither of those setups makes any sense since they'll both contribute to...
1) Download the Windows 11 media creation tool to your PC
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows11
2) Insert a USB drive of 8GB or more (I personally use 16GB)
3) Right-click the USB and format it so it has no other data
4) Run the Media Creation tool and select the USB as...
I can't tell where the AIO fans are from the image you posted (which is probably a bad sign). They should ideally be underneath the radiator, transferring the heat from the radiator to outside of the PC.
This is purely guessing based on the setup of your pump, but (assuming the fans weren't...
+1 to reinstalling Windows.
I once had this happen when logging in to my personal PC using my work email address. It somehow changed all of my permissions and the only fix was to do a clean reinstall of Windows.
