The Great Reseating™ has taken place, but, unfortunately, has not been successful. The beeps are consistently 1 long, 3 short, and the VGA light on the mobo is lit.

My new machine (specs pasted below) is not happy at all. In both Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.4, it crashes out even when not loaded after 5 to 50 minutes, and with no obvious triggers. Sometimes I can still access the machine over ssh (in Ubuntu), and can see that there is a problem with the GPU...
