PCSPECIALIST will I have thermal/compatibility issues, and will this be noisy?

I will quickly chime in. I got the Define 7 Case in my PCS build. It comes assembled with the solid top but the ventilated top is included in the box, along with all the other spare parts from the case like SSD mounts. Very happy with the case, with headphones on you won't notice the case...

PCSPECIALIST CPU Fan Error preventing boot

That did cross my mind, but I trust the PCS Build Team a lot more than I trust myself! I don’t think so, I tried some boots with the side panels removed to see how that affected noise levels, and didn’t see any noticeable difference

PCSPECIALIST CPU Fan Error preventing boot

Controller looks in order, can’t see anything out of place. Back on the BIOS screen temps are fine, around 40 degrees but the case fans are going at full chat which is significant as they’re normally barely noticeable. Also not getting any RNG on boot with the cooler, and I don’t have iCue...

PCSPECIALIST CPU Fan Error preventing boot

Thank you both! Quick reply as I’ve been out, still getting to grips with having a job and also somehow a social life too (allegedly) 😅 One long beep followed by 4 short beeps, will try and dig manual out of the attic tomorrow. Thanks for this, will get stuck into it tomorrow after work. I...

    PCSPECIALIST Serious LMG bash

Started going through it, stopped very quickly. Kinda makes me feel nostalgic for the 3080 queue thread that was all the rage when I first popped my head on this forum.

PCSPECIALIST AMD - Check my Spec

If you’re not buying until September I would definitely recommend pressing pause for now. A lot can happen in the market between now and then, with new products changing pricing, and GPU prices generally falling. What I would say for now is that your primary display is not really suitable for...

    PCSPECIALIST All White Build Configurator

I can’t wait for the chaotic individual who sends in a non-white case for the all white build. I wonder if PCS would then query that or follow the customer’s request without complaint 😂

PCSPECIALIST Help with new build for a CG artist please!

Nope, you’ve got a suitable motherboard and cooler so you would be all set. Strong build as always from Stevey 🙂

PCSPECIALIST £5,500 and it's telling me my front USB ports will be disabled?

You need to be on a different configurator. You either want this for Intel systemshttps://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/intel-z790-ddr5-pc/ Or this for AMD https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/amd-am5-pc/

PCSPECIALIST Advice on build for friends first gaming PC

Ryzen CPUs have always been quite sensitive to RAM speeds, very good 5600mhz, or 6000mhz is definitely the place to be if possible as performance does start to drop quite substantially if you cheap out here. Attached HWU video which has some reliable benchmarks about this.

PCSPECIALIST Just ordered this for my mum

As someone who received a 4GB laptop I can confirm that 8GB does make a good difference, especially with how ram hungry browsers are these days. I trust you with your expertise though as always 😊

PCSPECIALIST The Big Fat Giveaway of the Year 2023

Absolutely agree. Nabbed it when it was a free epic title and it was visually stunning! Strong gameplay and story too

PCSPECIALIST The Big Fat Giveaway of the Year 2023

Think I’ll buy this too. For Gotham Knights alone it’s a great deal and all for a great cause. It’ll be nice to give back a little to the forum too, especially as I haven’t been volunteering as much of my time recently

    PCSPECIALIST Midlife crisis PC build

This is absolutely the more sensible way to go, and would be what I would recommend to the majority of people. This build is already pushing the top end for gaming performance, as mentioned above anything added on top of this is for bragging rights. While you can look at benchmarks and have...
