PCSPECIALIST [FIXED] Unknown problem playing LEGO Indy 2 (possibly refresh rate)

FIXED - how I fixed it: Downloaded cru-1.5.1.zip from here https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU Unzipped to a location on C:/Users/[username] Ran cru.exe Created a "standard" resolution of 1920x1080 (16:9) @ 72Hz N.b. 60hz also works but produces quite choppy...

PCSPECIALIST [FIXED] Unknown problem playing LEGO Indy 2 (possibly refresh rate)

Thank you for your help! I've tried installing the PhysX Legacy Driver and that sadly didn't work. I also set the PhysX processor to specifically be the NVIDIA gpu but this did not work either. I also tried setting the preferred gpu to nvidia and setting the maximum fps both globally and for...

I don’t know how to activate the mux switch or if I even have one since I can’t seem to see an option for it in either the uefi firmware settings screen or in the control centre? (Would you like me to post screenshots of those?)

Is Custom Resolution Utility safe to try to create a 1920x1080 @ 60Hz resolution for me to choose in the Windows advanced display settings?

Is it safe to try disabling the integrated gpu from the device manager as long as the nvidia gpu is still active? or is there any chance that this would make my system not display anything and require a reinstall?

The advanced display settings in Windows say the display is running of the integrated graphics

I can't find anything like this in either... but, the advanced display options did say the display is running on iGPU and I can use the windows graphics settings to set the game to use iGPU and that still doesn't work

I mean I don't exactly see anything in the BIOS labelled "MUX", I just see Office Mode or Game Mode and I'm not sure if that's the same thing as what you're referring to

Thank you for your reply! To be honest, I don't remember ever seeing something called Bullguard installed on my PC (and searching for it on the start menu doesn't show any results), it has been over 90 days since I bought this notebook. Advanced Display screenshot: I don't know exactly what a...

PCSPECIALIST [FIXED] Unknown problem playing LEGO Indy 2 (possibly refresh rate)

Hi, I'm having issues with playing LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues on Steam on my PCSPECIALIST notebook as it complains "Fatal Error! Failed to create d3d device. Application will now exit. Error = 0x8876086c". I looked this up online and it seems to have to do with refresh rates...
