Hello all!
So I bought a PC from PCSpecialist about two years ago with the Ryzen 3900XT as my chosen CPU.
Bit of background... I've recently changed my PC build to ITX (so it's more portable) and I've changed the CPU to a 5600X because I couldn't find a cooler that was powerful enough to both...
Let's hope so, far from ideal!
Thanks for the feedback. The rattling was a concern of mine so its good to have that question answered. I didn't think this would work in the first place but I thought it was worth considering!
Hey guys!
So I've recently received news that I have to re-locate where I work. I am going to have to drive to one side of the country for a week and then back again for the weekends. I'm not happy about it :(
Now, I want to bring my PC with me, because otherwise I'm not getting any use out of...
You can purchase whatever case you want (as long as it is compatible with your spec) and send it to them and they will configure your PC with it. Don't think they can source cases for you if its not in the configurator though.
I called them up asking if I could give them some parts from my old PC, such as my SSD, and they said the only thing you can pick externally from PCS is the case, so I don't think so :(
Also Im not sure if PCS did anything in the BIOS before they released it. As ive now done a factory reset I presume the BIOS has been reset too? Is there anything I might need to configure?
Just an update on how my build is going - There have been a few issues!
I've been playing lots of games, but one in particular (mount and blade bannerlord) kept freezing all the time. Couldn't find out why. I've heard here and there it might be to do with the RTX 3080 as it takes a while for...
I have the NZXT 511 and even though it looks amazing, the airflow isnt top notch. The radiator for the CPU cooler (Corsair H115i Platinum) doesnt get enough air through the side panel.
I had my build delivered yesterday with an RTX 3080 and the NZXT 511 case . Airflow is alright, but nothing great. I would go for a better case if you're not that bothered about aesthetics. It looks great, but I know there are much much better cases for airflow out there. The CPU gets a bit hot...
