I am moving up from a 1050ti, which has been struggling with alot of things I've been throwing at it. The performance increase is crazy even from the 2X series to the 3X. I have no doubt they will release a 3080ti version though as there is a nice price point to slot into between the 3080 and 3090
I emailed PC specialist as I'm in the same boat and ordered a PC, was tempted to put it on hold and wait but they said that I would have to manually go in on release day and add the 3080 to my build, there would also be no guarantee I would get it that day depending on their orders and amount of...
They have not cancelled mine yet and it has been 2 days. On the one hand, if the order stays then I could possibly miss the release day rush. However, I could also find myself without a card if they cancel it after the release date. It's a gamble!
It's from Amazon direct. They accidentally listed various cards. If you look on Reddit, the Nvidia subreddit to be exact, many different suppliers put up their cards on different Amazons, including US, Germany and italy.
I've managed to get a pre-order from Amazon Italy. Which is due to arrive 21-23rd if they don't cancel. The preorder page is unavailable now! It should arrive the same time as my PC!
I'm familiar with the idea of connecting but the issue is : Will I have the 8 pins spare or in the case as I'm buying without a GPU and I don't know if the people building my PC here will include the cables or not that are spare
You sound exactly like me! I just bought a PC without a graphics card from PC specialist and will put in the 3080 when it arrives. My issue is also the fact that I don't know if I will get the spare PSU cables (obviously they would usually connect them to the GPU but because I don't have a GPU...
Thanks for taking the time out to have a look. Good to see I wasn't too far off with my ideas!
I am not a flight simmer at all. I actually was thinking of the 3700X rather than the 3800XT as that chip performs very well and doesn't cost as much and I would probably lose 1-2% performance. Since...
Hi all,
I am looking for a gaming PC, one that can do 4K, 60FPS. I have a monitor for that already. I have picked a few things below but am very limited in my own knowledge. You will notice there is not a graphics card, I am waiting for the 3080 to release and to buy that separately. My budget...
