For the money that is not a great build. CPU, Cooling and PSU are questionable. Others who are much more knowledgeable than me will help you fix it, but yes, needs some work.

I have a good airflow case, Coolermaster TD500. So in my particular configuration no, it's pretty much silent.

I have a 3600XT running on a stock cooler and have done since I got the machine from PCS last August. Absolutely fine.

That's great to hear AgentCooper. As I said I've broke my budget by about £200 but hopefully worth it!
