Moving to AMD 9000 GPU? Enable FSR 4 on pretty much any game

Little Mod any of you getting an AMD GPU may be interested in.

This is called Optiscaler, it's a project hosted on Github

It basically enabled FSR4 support for almost any game that supports any version of DLSS, previous FSR version games that haven't yet been updated, and even includes Intel XeSS support

Essentially TLDR how it works, you basically have an input and output.

So you can select whatever the game supports as the input method (DLSS, XeSS etc)

Then you can select the output method as FSR4 and it will then convert that output as FSR4 as far as the GPU sees it.

Of course this is a mod, so there are going to be bugs, but generally it looks extremely promising until AMD roll it into the drivers.

Does beg the question, if some random gamer dev is able to do this so quickly, why on earth are AMD dragging their feet! I'm betting this guy gets offered a job rather soon!

This is the official repo: https://github.com/cdozdil/OptiScaler

It's also hosted on THE place for Mods that I rely on heavily (and trust wholeheartedly), Nexus Mods:

Is there a mod to turn on 8x frame gen on my 4090, to give it 7090 performance ;)

+1 to the NexusMods recommendation (y)
Lols, maybe that will be Nvidia upcoming marketing.., “this card is from the future“

Isnt It nuts that it eventually turns out the 4090 is a value king (if bought at MSRP), who would have seen that coming a year ago!
