Hi,
I've been trying to reach for the CPU and GPU of my Tongfang GJ5CN6E in order to change the thermal paste, but I still can't get to remove the top cabinet despite taking out all the screws with the exception of the "1" (missing in picture, pay it no mind) placed on the cooling part. I was sent some pictures with instructions for a similar model from PCS, but these don't have a module I've highlighted with a yellow square on the left. Am I supposed to remove this component as well? The cable doesn't seem to be one of those you can just plug out and in again so I was a bit reticent to proceed. 😅
I kinda manage to detach part of the chassis if I try, but I can't seem to understand how to remove it from the rear ventilation ducts, it's just really clingy to the point I'm afraid of snapping the plastic. It also gives me the feeling that I'm lifting the whole thing rather only the top cabinet which is not what I want of course.
I'll greatly appreciate any kind of suggestions or clarifications about the matter, many thanks! I've never disassembled a laptop before so please forgive my newbie's reluctance at touching and moving stuff. 😂
